"@HAMMERCLAW: 360's games focus on multiplayer heavy, action-oriented stuff, while the Japanese market, for the most part, absorbs either RPG or story-driven gaming. I suppose this could be an attempt to turn them onto the 360's flagship title, but they tried that, and Halo 3 lasted like a week before it disappeared; there was only a brief flash of interest before they went back to what they normally play.

I think this is aimed at American audiences. All I hope is that the parody Toei's planning on making is good. The other seven, I suspect, will be mediocre at best, a writhing pile of dog doodoo at worst.

If you want to expand the story into new mediums, do more of those ads with the old guys talking about their veteran days. That was good. But Bungie tried the game in Japan and it didn't garner interest, why would an anime suddenly make it interesting? Because they have anime eyes and more slow-motion? I can't believe this is meant as a second attempt at opening the Japanese market to the Halo franchise; if it works, and who knows, it might, I'll be very disappointed. Well, since this is anime that means the majority of the west will not like/watch it and the majority of the east will watch it. I have a feeling that's the point though.

I personally think if they were to make an animated Halo show it would be best like this.

I guess I'll watch it...but I'll probably not like it just like how I hated the Animatrix and that Batman thing, for the most part.

I do not think I understood what I saw. iv`e played wierd stuff,  but it seems to me cirtain things don`t mix. Even killer 7, a  japanes trojan horse to the west, only did one anime chapter.. And I`m  just lukewarm about halo. Last game was pretty good.

But anime..it better be damned origonal. This just looks like the plain ol`e generic anime.

That was a terrible trailer. I have hope for this series though, soley based off the amazing anime episode that was made by redvsblue last year. Shows that Halo could actually work as an anime!

That trailer was god awful.  Bones and IG are decent companies so maybe the anime itself will be good.  But that trailer did NOT convince me.
