That is probably the most likely scenario though did you buy it from GFW or did you buy from Steam? Even then I'm sure the full version would most likely be $40 like Super or you can wait for it to go on sale later.

Am I the only one who kinda thinks online training could be a big deal? If a hand full of elite players could actual train with people who want to learn to play well *holds up hand*, but don't know the hows and whys, it could be huge. In a perfect world it would be earth shattering.

Poison originally was a woman in the original Arcade game. When the game was ported to the SNES, Capcom made Poison and Roxie into Billy and Sid. Why Capcom decided to make Poison a transsexual rather than just make her a woman again is beyond me, but that's the history. Oh, and Hugo was originally Andore.

As far as the game itself, I follow the FGC and Capcom is doing North American beta testing on the game while updating it before release. I was able to see quite a bit of it being played by pros and I like the new changes and the new characters added. And I can't wait to see who the new never before used fifth character is.

You assume he pretends Poison was a woman to begin with so he can ignore the existence of transsexuality, but hey, he could also assume she's a woman because of the confusing transsexual background of Poison. Poison is originally designed as a woman but retconned into a transsexual post-op woman, pretty confusing to me. Now that feminists aren't a big threat, shouldn't Capcom stick with the original artist's vision (that was altered due to fear)? It's not a big deal either way but it's kinda like Leo in Tekken 6.

Poison's first appearance in Final Fight featured her and a palette swap character named Roxy as recurring minor enemies for the player to fight. Named after the band by an unnamed female employee at Capcom, she was designed by Akira Yasuda to contrast against the bigger characters in the game and move about randomly. The characters were originally planned to be normal females, but were changed to transsexual females due to the suggestion that "hitting women was considered rude" in America and the concern that feminist groups would sue.

Ultra is separate from AE, its not a free update.

I find good matches within seconds (in Europe), the scene is pretty active on PC. I can only imagine it gets better the older these current/last gen consoles get.

So what will happen to my GFWL version of ssf4ae? Will they offer upgrade to steam edition?

I really enjoyed Street Fighter 4 on 360 but my experience was ruined by my crappy internet connection and the 360 controller - you ever use the d-pad and get less responsive moves, or you use the analog and get blisters on your thumb.

If I bought this version I would get it for PC, but does anyone even play this on PC?

All the console sticks work on PC, too, so just get one from Mad Catz.

Just need to get some decent arcade sticks for my PC. Any suggestions?

Still, loving their support. Great to see more Third Strike/Alpha guys and having Poison in a good fighting game is never not a good thing. Still want to know about that fifth new character.
