Well, it looks like Uncharted. I'm not saying it looks uninteresting, but I don't think they've shown anything that makes it look like anything more than a third person shooter/platformer starring a girl instead of Nathan Drake.

I believe they could do interesting things with the character and story, though whether that actually happens is something we'll have to see. Color me interested, but I'm not sold until it's out.

It's crazy that people expect this game to have any similarities to Square-DEVELOPED games just because it's Square-PUBLISHED.

Final Hours? Isn't the game due out in February? How can it be the final hours?

@purspike: Isn't Square just the publisher? I'm pretty sure the developers are just doing their thing, granted Square is helping out with cutscenes. But if you dig the game, I personally wouldn't give Square the bulk of the credit.

I couldn't watch it because they keept insisting on showing Zach eating. What a crappy way to conduct an interview. But it was probably his lunch break, and he scheduled this interview months ago, so they where like F-It, lets film, I can eat and interview. But I got a Chuck thing I got to do in 20.

God damn it Square. Stop making me want to NOT buy this game. I was interested but now I don't know what to believe. I hate these dumb scripted behind-the-scenes.

Glad to see I am not the only one who found the vibe of this behind the scenes absolutely horrible. The scene where they are eating in the bar was terrible!

I hate this vaguely veiled ad for Tomb Raider (trying to sell this as a behind the scenes insight, insults me). I am excited for the game, but hell if this is really putting me off. Also "Hey! Look? We have a lead female writer! So forget all that rape stuff, okay?"

What is up with the terribly scripted hip game-pr-videos lately. this in not on the level of the "fable - the journey"-video, but it's damn close. i hate hate hate this manufactured wanna-be coolness. is this the new style that resonates with people? of course, the interview carries on during lunch, "no really, please believe us, we're just some cool guys and gals hanging out!!!" O_o

it's a least very wrongly placed on a site like giantbomb. don't we come here for the unfiltered, authentic banter of the guys? gah!! i'm ranting… =(

Who on earth filmed/edited this video?, it's super overly dramatic, it reminds of the awful 'Story of Polygon' documentary trailer, trying to take itself way to seriously, a simple informative interview would of sufficed rather thanthis 'over dramatizedheroes of the games industry releasing their baby into the wild docu crap', this type of depiction of the games industry needs to stop, it's just too cheesy.

Square Enix rescued Deus Ex and that "reboot"/"reimagining" did well. Here's crossing my fingers that the magic happens for this as well. If not, moar Guardian of light pls : D

"This will be the game of our careers." (Translation: We are prepared to be pink slipped and the studio closed after this tanks.)

"We don't want the dialogue to sound gamey." But, they just showed an enemy character say, "We're coming to get you outsider." in a robotic voice. In fact all of the dialogue is slightly on the gamey side, not terrible for a game, but not much to boast about especially strongly either. Thankfully the dialogue is the least of my worries or anyone elses.

My big worry is the whole thing seems dark throughout. The island is an environmental disaster with wrecks on the beach. The inhabitants are a weird cult that seems to just kill people that end up on the island. It rains all the time. Everyone is wet dirty, bloody and cold. This game seems like a downer, a start-to-finish downer where the main character gets beat on until she rescues herself....and PLEASE GOD make sure she rescues herself.

Also, Capcom should absolutely be concerned about the quality of their games. Their brand recognition from past years of quality games will only last so long before that recognition turns into a reputation for shoddy games churned out half assed. RE is popular because once upon a time those games were good.

I believe that reputation has turned reality. Name one good game from Capcom in the last 3-5 years. Asura's Wrath is the only one I can think of. They're relying on old IP's, SF and RE...it's wearing thin for Capcom.

Zak & Wiki was fantastic ...

Street Fighter 4 revived the fighting game genre on its own ...

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom was pretty awesome...

It looks as if the only change in this game from previous games is that Lara cries a little bit after each kill instead of not giving a shit.

No wait. She's crying constantly while killing dudes, in-between all the moaning of her jumping and landing. Seriously. Look at gameplay again and once you start noticing the VO work reflecting her movement it becomes mad annoying. *Ooh! uh! HUH! buuhuuu *sob sob* uh! HUH! aaagh! *sob sob* Ugh! buuhuuu! Uh! HUH! Aaagh! UH!". I just know I'm going to pay more attention to that type of audio now... because its there... following every single action performed by the protagonist.

I get it. She's supposed to be very transparent emotionally, and vulnerable YET a skilled killer with hidden potential for overcoming armies of brute opposition. I get it!

What the fuck have they done with the character?! It says tomb raider on the box but this is nothing like I remember. Where are the 3-storey high jump acrobatics? Where is my dual pistol kata? While I don't have a problem with game series taking a new direction once in a while, I personally don't feel so good about this one.

I'm really really looking forward to this!

Whoever edited this video was either on crack or has an unhealthy love for quick cuts. Felt like I was watching a shitty episode of 24 rather than an informative interview.

Anyone else get the impression that this game is very short? Her accent is not right either. I like the Tomb Raider franchise; so fingers crossed.

Im actually really excited about this... i liked all 3 Uncharteds... i liked Tomb Raider 2 when it was breaking new ground back in mid 90's... I think that with no new Uncharted games in the near future this is their chance to pick up the flag and deliver an amazing 'Indiana Jones' like experience that we all love.

I am glad that they are moving away from the "Gamers will buy this for big boobs and short shorts" mentality to "Lets tell an amazing adventure story"...

Cant wait to play it!

Anyway, I don't know. I thought it was interesting back at E3, but this video is souring my image on the game overall. Just get the feeling that they're trying a bit too hard advertising it.

All these fake behind-the-scene clips are sooo bad. For every single game.

"The Final Hours" for Portal 2 and Mass Effect 3 were really good and worth a download.

@blacklab: Zachary Levi is a big video gamer. I was at Nerd HQ at Comic Con this summer, and half of what was provided there was related to video games. I also got to talk to him for a little bit, dude knows his game knowledge, trust me, his Chuck character isn't too far off from the guy in real life. I'm happy that he's keeping busy after Chuck ended, I loved that show, so it's great that he's doing stuff that he enjoys while staying connected to his fans.

This video focusing on the female writer is just screaming "DaMaGe CoNtRoL" after the gaffe earlier this year.

I still think this game is going to be terrible but good on them for doing something different with the Tomb Raider franchise.

Seems very strange that Chuck continues to be in these.

Why is Chuck in this video?
