Here's Sesame Street: Once Upon a Monster

We're pretty sure Double Fine is the only company that could get us interested in a Sesame Street game.

My 4 1/2 year old daughter is going to flip the F out when she sees this.  Can't wait to play this with her.

" The graphics look like shit, art style isn't appropriate for Sesame Street, and the gameplay looks like something you'd see on the iPad.

That's what I got from this video.  "
Me too, but it's for the kids, yo. "
Just because it's intended for kids, doesn't excuse them from the crappy graphics and uninteresting gameplay. "
In fact, that's another reason why the gameplay shouldn't be uninteresting, since the kids don't really care for the story nor dialogue in a game. "
If you want to go and make an excuse for Double Fine, then go ahead. That's what you're doing. Even for a Kinnect game, this is inexcusable. The graphics are literally on par with something you'd see on the iPad. And not to mention the art style is fucking ridiculous. It's not a fucking Tim Burton movie, Schafer. I feel sorry for anyone who purchases this game at full price.

Yeah... not sure about the whole body shot thing... but other than that this looks really, really fucking cute.  I'm sure the dozen or so M-rated shooters coming out that week will satisfy my blood lust long enough for me play this too.

Yup, completely and angrily dismissing a game on the basis of one short trailer is definitely a legitimate thing to do.

Anyway, a couple of people are wondering about the music - most likely it's  from Peter McConnell who has worked on all Double Fine games and has a bit of elfman in his style a lot of the time. Great composer.
