Here's Some of the Stuff You Can Call Down in Call of Duty: Black Ops II

I promise I'm not asking this with snark (okay, okay—maybe just a tiny bit), but to all of you talking about this looking different, what exactly do you mean? I haven't played a CoD game since I believe the first Modern Warfare, but I can't seem to detect much new to this game. What am I missing?

I really, really, REALLY hope this could mark the end of all the modern military stuffs and all other companies will start makinng something more sci-fi/futuristic

It looks better than MW3, not suprised there, I prefer Black Ops over it. Black Op's just seems to have more meat on it's bones. In my opinion better, bigger, more unique maps for multiplayer. Fantastic single player plot with epic set pieces, and zombies is thrown in for a tongue-in-cheek frantic diversion. I think since Infinity Ward was C4'd Treyarch has come into it's own as a quality developer that has made CoD feel fun and fresh again...although, I really can't wait to see what Respawn has up it's sleeves : )

That laptop-on-a-tripod device that the player put down that stunned the other players, do y'all think that's a version of the crowd-dispersal technology that hits its targets with non-lethal heat rays that military has right now?

That would be correct if it was true, font is completely different plus the UI is a nice overhaul.

Same here, loved Black Ops just handled match making so well. Not being able to get killstreaks off killstreaks was what I really liked about it.

@SilentBob251: Exactly this. Ran through the campaign, played two games of MP, got trounced, left it. And I dropped 70+ into Blops and 120+ into MW2. Battlefield 3 took a lot of my friends away (rightfully), and I had a far better time there...until Dedicated Servers.

This one might well get me back involved, looked like CoD of yore! With electric tomahawks.

That ending just ruined it. Good framerate though.

Looks like call of duty alright

This will be the 11th main game in the Call of Duty franchise. Reaching Final Fantasy levels of wtf-itude (without the FF naming conventions). By contrast however, Final Fantasy is up to 16 games (I think) since 1987 and Call of Duty's got 11 games since 2003.

looks smooth and slick....intresting to see what else they got for the Multi.

Honestly, if you find yourself enjoying the newest CoD every year I don't see why you'd be saying that you're not getting the newest CoD this year. If I knew of a yearly franchise that constantly produced games that I liked I wouldn't think twice of preordering the upcoming one.

I don't understand why they added that commentary at the end of the video. The gadgets are pretty cool though.

Last CoD I bought was Modern Warfare 2 and I had skipped WaW... This however looks different and interesting. Might pick it up on Steam.

I like the aesthetic, but it will take a lot more then this to make me want to buy it.

Looks pretty nice on a PC. Still looks like more CoD though.

How am I ruining the industry you self righteous fuck? COD is a guilty pleasure that still is my favorite MP FPS game. Until there is a MP shooter that does what COD does and better I'm still firmly in the COD camp.

Also, with the mention of tomahawks as something that you can "call down", I was sincerely hoping there'd be a jet that just air dropped 40 or so tomahawks in. Just handaxes, raining from the sky.

On account of his wicked insights and biting tongue...indeed, Heath (real name redacted), is the most interesting man in the world.

I know CoD gets a bad "casual" rep (especially from folks lurking in this very comment section), but I have to say this is a step in the right direction for the franchise. Here's hoping it'll become something more unique and less "thinly-disguised-as-money-maker".

Looks solid, just recently got back into CoD with MW3 (as it's been going down a lot in price) after almost skipping it for Battlefield 3. Still enjoying the hell out of the multiplayer and Spec-Ops, so I'm totally on for another one if it's good. This looks pretty interesting too.

Also, eSports. That's a thing, apparently.

Heat beam and future tomahawk alone worth the 60 buxs
