I Can't Decide if This Saints Row 4 Video Is Great or Terrible

@chrismafuchris: I've often considered it, but being as I come from a place where we have hard limits (60 Gigabytes a month) to our internet, spending money on places of whom, unlock higher definition videos for paying members of which, equate to larger chunks of a limited bandwidth seems bunk.

It would be like, buying Amazon Prime in Canada, where I'd be paying the exact same amount as the states, but receiving next to nothing in exchange.

I have no interest to play any Saints Row game and, well, this looks like another Saints Row game so.. That said, it's good that there is competition for GTA and those who prefer their urban open world games to be as crazy as possible can turn to SR, and those who want a satirical, more grounded take on american culture can enjoy GTA.

I'm still stoked.

Not a great trailer but really enjoyed the mix of the SR logo with the presidential seal. Really looking forward to this game as looks like it will be quite insane over SR3.

Jesus Christ, I thought the Fuse ad that played before the trailer was SR4 for a second and was about to post TERRIBLE in the largest possible font.

i really couldn't give a shit. saints row games have always felt dense, and this doesn't look any different. creating wacky scenarios feels empty, especially when the world doesn't take itself seriously. i'm looking more forward to watch dogs or grand theft auto v personally.

What I meant was that SRIV looks like it has little innovation & imagination compared to its predecessor. It seems to me the Dev team just thought,

"Oh, they like giant dildo bats? Well let's give them bigger giant didlo bats."

I've done that with SRIII, I although I did love it at the time, I wished they'd come up with a new design for IV, rather than just escalation of the previous one.

As for GTAV, enough time has passed from GTA4 that I'm ready to return to that world again, and with the swapping between characters, joint missions etc etc they at least seemed to have given some thought to the process.

Both game will be great fun no doubt, but for now; an expanded DLC (SR4) can't compare to GTAV.

I never got the Saints Row love. The humor looks like it was ripped from an Uwe Boll movie. Whether it was on purpose or not, doesn't make it any funnier.

It is a broad Question. I personally think it good and bad. I am a huge fan of the Series. I will be getting this day one on Tuesday. It not a game for everyone it either love it or hate it. It your opinion at the end of the
day. I am not surprised with the mix Scores. It just not a very appealing game to most and it not mainstream enough. But who cares as long as the game is good why do we always have to play Serious games all
the time. It just what you think is funny or not. I have only heard the main missions are a bit lacking. But the side quest are good. I do like there trying to do something Different as long as it works who cares. People are just too possessive of there Game Series and wants everything to stay the same it boring after awhile.But complain when it too different they want there cake and be able to eat it. IMHO. It a catch 22 and you won't be able to Satisfy everyone. People show what this series is all about now.
