Okay, I have to know why they changed the voices of the see-saw guys. As far as I can tell, they're just making noises.

You mean "changed them from the Japanese version", I assume?

Nintendo has that localization department, so they might as well use them. Even if it's gibberish noises, the syllables used are likely to still have a Japanese sound to them. Like how this song is gibberish, but it's full of common syllables in American English:

If you meant "changed the voices from the North American DS version", then I have no answer for you.

Yeah, I meant from the Japanese version. I see your point, but they didn't change the monkey voices! The monkeys, man! I just find it strange is all.

I am reminded that I never picked up the DS game. I will have to rectify that omission at some point.

Can someone please point out, for me, the "mild cartoon violence" in this trailer? Did I miss something, or do monkeys high-fiving each other count as violence these days?

That descriptor is for the game as a whole, not the trailer.

I wish this game would have come out a lot earlier instead of taking as long to localize as it did. I love rhythm heaven and I want to dust off my Wii to play it but I just don't know if I can...

I loved this commercial, but I wonder what the eventual input methods will be. Is it a button-focused game or a bunch of gestures? If it's the latter, I'm unfortunately not interested.

EDIT: It's button inputs! YAAAAAAAAAAY!

Yeah, they'll wonder why we played military FPSs and MMOs when we could have been getting started on the Rhythm Heaven Revolution of 2015 (after which all games were Rhythm Heaven-based).

I imported a copy of this as a Christmas present to my brothers and yeah it's seriously fucking incredible. It's going to be somewhere between 5th and 1st place on Jeff's Top 10 this year, no doubt.

@Enebreus: I have a CRT TV and it runs perfectly but my friends' HDTV in Game Mode works fine too. I wouldn't worry. The Wii isn't HDMI which is usually the issue for laggy gameplay.

Oh man I just love the fluid animation! It's certainly a step up from the animation quality in Rhythm Heaven for the DS.

As soon as the mild cartoon violence warning came up I immediately thought that guy was going to club those seals... rhythmically.

Does that make me a bad person?

Rhythm Tengoku for the GBA is one of my favorite games of all time. It's been in my Micro for the past 3 years and I still play it every few months. Didn't get around to playing Rhythm Heaven for the DS but I'm getting this one day one, looks rad as hell.

Go get the fucking DS game. Are you insane!? It's like $10!

I wish this came out a few years earlier, I don't really feel like playing this on Wii. I'll look forward to the inevitable 3DS version though, these games work well on handhelds.
