There is something just kinda "fuck yeah" about Duke Nukem Forever finally being released. It doesn't matter if it's mediocre, out-dated and juvenile; the fact that the people involved, including the chaps over at Gearbox, refused to let it die is just such a testament to their love for Duke and those early days of FPSes. Back when they were still called "Doom clones."  Hail to the King.

Another trailer. Looks awesome, can't wait for the game.

Terrible trailer, all due to the fact that it lacks the Duke Nukem theme song.

There's a lotta jank in that trailer.  This game probably isn't gonna be good, and that's to be expected with all it's been through.  But I've faith in Gearbox to make the next one great!

YES. I need more silly fun in video games. Fucking Crysis 2, Modern Warfare x, or pretty much any FPS coming out in the past years. This is FUN.

And to think, if DNF came out any earlier, we wouldn't have been able to have that song in the trailer.

Won't be playing it but I hope it sells a million copies and ends up being an A+ rated game.

I just know this game is going to be horrible but in a way it almost deserves to sell well...logic that I cannot even explain.

Game is going to blow chunks. Not in a good way either.

Not interested myself, but I'm glad some developers are still wiling to make games like this. Enough Modern Warfares, Battlefields, Crysis..es; there's something to be said for mindless, over-the-top insanity.

It won't be "11 years" good, but I think this game will be good.

people can justify it by saying it's meant to be excessive or however else they want, but this still is a game designed by men that continue to view women as sexual objects and aren't afraid to show everyone in the most blatant way possible. i'm sure there's supposed to be some irony there, but it's overshadowed by ill feeling i get inside knowing that gearbox's design team made a conscious decision to take one insignificant aspect of duke nukem 3d and expand it into this gigantic sexist thread running through the entire game. because it obviously adds so much to the game. congratulations to them for shrinking the consumer base and completely losing my and other's respect, purely out of stupidity.

So when do you guy's think we are gonna see the next Duke Nukem game? Randy Pitchford said they bought the license to develope it further, not just to release this one game. Maybe after Borderlands 2?

Just caught this on tv. I virtually never see tv spots for games, so to catch one for a game we never thought would see the light of day is pretty mind-blowing.

I never doubted that this game was coming out.

Hopefully. they will be seriously leaning on the humor and a descent shooter.  Leaving all sense and realism behind.
