Ninja Gaiden for the Xbox was amazing. One of the best games I ever played.  NG2 was good but filled with issues and failed to advance the series. I have my hopes up for this.

I only ever played a Ninja Gaiden game (NG2) recently and enjoyed it more than I felt it deserved. Interested in a sequel, even without Itagaki, but unless they do a lot to modernize the game's structure and flow, I doubt I'll be picking this up new.
 
Also, I know it's not the point, but it would be nice if the story wasn't incomprehensible and the female characters didn't have tits larger than their heads.

Well obviously Ryu Hyabusa is going to unmask to reveal that he is actually a woman. The rest of the times that he has not worn a mask be damned.

I don't feel comfortable buying a game about a guy who just stabbed me in the chest.

Now I just have to get through the 5th chapter of NGS2 on Mentor. I just ate all my health items at Alexei and the Statue of Liberty at the end of chapter 4, and there's no fricking savepoint in chapter 5 before the boss there, and when you die to him, you spawn at the beginning og chapter 5. Grr.

Sound effects have gotten so ridiculous these days. Headshots in FPSes sound like watermelons injected with raspberry jam run smashed with a cinderblock, and I can't even describe what this nonsense sounds like. Whatever Ryu was stabbing must've had about a hundred additional brittle bones inside it.

I not only noticed that Ryu has amber eyes, but because I never finished the 2nd game, I'm curious its ending had anything to do with the condition of his arms in this trailer. He's clearly not just extremely ripped because his hands have way too many veins. My only guess is he's sort of half-demonic in this trailer.

Unless I'm wrong, I'm pretty sure he's been unmasked in several of the Dead or Alive games.

I loved Ninja Gaiden 1, just a fantastic game with punishing difficulties but a meticulous combat system. NG2 was a little step down but still a fun game, the bosses were not as great as the first game nor was the music

Will this one be on PS3 at the same time too? God I hope so, I don't want to end up with Ninja Gaiden 3: Sigma Delta Lima X Special Edition 5.77779 on the PS3 like a year later...
