Looks cool but I can't help but feel all this talk of freedom and fighting for it a bit shallow. Spoilers: The previous AC games have made it pretty clear Templars are in control of everything by present day. To the point of using our own cable boxes to monitor our vitals even.

I dunno, just feels like a fight that the assassins can't win, and really haven't been winning. I liked it better in AC1 where the Templars were just a shadowy group influencing leaders and various powers, more akin to boogeymen. Not the omni-present overlords they're depicted to be currently.

It's not even any patriotism crap that's frustrated me about the marketing for this game, it's the way every trailer as been a 'stab, stab, stab' montage. I come to Assassin's Creed for the story, characters and setting. This is the best trailer they've released.

Wow they seriously cut the part where he walks away from the blue coat corpses, says a lot about what they think the US can stomach from a video game trailer.

Isn't it weird that we haven't had a Desmond trailer or even a sighting of him? It makes me worry that his role isn't as important. :/

"In your haste to save the world, take care you don't destroy it." -- That's really great, man, I love this franchise.

I'd suspect that anything about Desmond will 1) Draw attention away from the introduction of Connor and ,2) more importantly, even a glimpse of what Desmond and co. are doing in the present day will reveal too much of where the endgame is headed.

Desmond didn't appear prominently in previous AC game trailers, as well.

Still think it is stupid they call him connor instead of his name. Also, will there be robots in this game?

Very excited, though I'm playing on PC, so I'll get it later than console players...

I thought the same thing. It's rare that VO stands out for being good. That gives me hope.

If the original trailer was banned from the US for having some American-Kills, then lets not hope the game it self is banned

That would be too much hypocrisy

"Learn Connor's Origins in This Latest Assassin's Creed III Trailer" - or I could just wait to find out when I'm actually playing the game. I really don't get how in most cases marketing and reviews have become - tell me a ton of stuff about the story and characters before I've even experienced the content for myself. I'd rather find out and be surprised instead of going into something with a load of boxes just waiting to be ticked off of 'things I already know'.

Scenery looks great, hoping the gameplay is more diverse with the assassinations & not only more of the same.

Wow they seriously cut the part where he walks away from the blue coat corpses, says a lot about what they think the US can stomach from a video game trailer.

They should take this all the way and just make localized versions of the game for America and England in which you can kill only the other side.
