somehow when I think of war and guns I think rather of something like Pantera or even Slipknot.... not linkin park.

I don't have anything against Linkin Park in particular, but it makes me very uncomfortable seeing music, live action footage, and gameplay all stuck together trying to seem "real". It's like I can feel the tendrils of a thousand marketing people trying to burrow into the skulls of me and my demographic.
 
Basically, the presentation of this as being "real" makes me feel like EA is actively using the war to sell their game, and that doesn't feel right.

Does anyone still care about Linkig Park shenanigans?

This just made me significantly less interested in this game.

I hope this game is awesome, since it seems to be what DICE is doing instead of building the BC1 maps in BC2... or just giving us new BC2 maps that didn't ship on the disk with the game....

Linkin Park is probably one of the worst bands they could use in MoH. That song is just terrible.

Too much live action compared to gameplay 
The fact the anti-war linkin park brigade are now directing and promoting this amuses me 
 
And the fact that there was no sound in that trailer other than the damn song? mixed with top heavy Live action? made this seem like a bad music video - a really bad music video  
 
But god damn - it just felt like "greenday had wake me up with there war video song so heres our war video song. What we need to advertise something? quick get call of duty on the phone - what's that? Eminem's rolling with those guys? FUCK him!? Medal of what?! Yeah that'll do!!" 
 
Shame because the gameplay parts looked at least a little different (as you can within modern conflict FPS genre) to what we've seen before in other games. 
Completely overshadowed by LP stupid production, bad move by EA - shame because the QOTSA / BC2 gig was actually really fucking sweet!
