I was going to play the Amalur demo anyway, and I have zero interest in the ME3 demo, because the game is already a must buy for me.

This unlockable item potpourri in ever AAA title is starting to get irritating.

I am ok with this. Try a demo, get some free gear. With Dragon Age and Mass Effect, you had to own both games to unlock items.

I'm kinda annoyed with cross over crap like this! It reminds me of the Dead Space armor in Dragon Age... Or the Master Chief armor in Fable... Based on that... This can only end in tears!

Well, I guess if your marketing demands exclusive items it's better for consumers when that is tied to playing a demo rather than paying for a full game.
