chobot's character looks weird, they should have just used her voice and not try to recreate her within the game... doesn't look quite right.

So I guess this means Miranda isn't in the game since Yvonne Strahovski isn't in this trailer. I'm also guessing Bioware is a big fan of IGN's Girlfight podcast considering they hired 2 of the 4 original ladies that were on there. Surprised they could listen to any of their podcast with all the eating, burps, and bad sound editing during it.

The more I see from BioWare and Mass Effect 3 the more I worry about it. I just get the odd sense that this is going to be Dragon Age 2 all over again. And let's face it, that game fucking sucked.

Also Chobot. Really? What in the fuck were they thinking? "Hey guys let's get a mildly attractive female that talks about games to add cred to our game and make teenagers blow their collect loads!" "Sounds good!" The only, and I mean only, way I'll accept her being in it is if I can kill her off early on or if I get to punch her in the face like you can to that reporter. If she's in for the long haul I'm done. If she has more than a side role I'm done. If she gets aboard the Normandy I'm really fucking done. I'll go play Mass Effect 2. There's nothing wrong with Mass Effect 2.

Wouldn't have given it a second thought if they had just used J-Bot's voice, but actually modelling her in game makes it seem like they're just trying too hard to appeal to people who believe she is an actual icon in the "gamer" community. I just hope the rest of the game won't suffer from things like this.

I don't know what it is about his design but I feel Vega just looks ridiculous next to Shepard.

Wait... Diana Allers isn't going to be a crew member, is she? Because I kinda feel like they've introduced enough characters, and I want to see the old cast return at this point.

God damn, I can't wait to play this game, no matter how it turns out. Mass Effect is the kind of universe and game type where I throw out my usual attitude of a trilogy is probably too much. I want more of it. It's so well produced and really the best sci-fi there is in video games these days. I love the characters. I want to see Shepard die but the rest go on to be in another, somewhat different Mass Effect game trilogy.

And - "pre-order to receive..." - just fuck off. This is the stupidest fucking shit in video games.

I play paragon characters, but I will take every possible chance to beat the living crap out of Jessica Chobot's stupid character.

It turned from an interesting interview mash-up featuring some of the most like-able actors around into an obnoxious sales pitch at an alarming rate.

Very off-putting.

Wow, I never bothered to watch all these mildly spoilerific videos before ME2 came out, I think I'll stop at this one for ME3 and just enjoy it more when it's out.

I just wanted to see Keith David and the state of his facial hair. I consider this video a success. Keep it up Keith and Admiral Anderson needs to have a bigger role in this.

My point was that they mainly focused on screen actors, starting off with the "biggest names" and working their way down in a way. It feels like Hale and Hillis are there just to have some more women in it. If not, why not include male Shepard as well?

These testimonials all feel coerced or scripted (or both I guess ).

I imagine you can get the bonus mission and character as a DLC? I mean why would they spend time on creating a character and a mission and only the 5% who gets the CE would see that content.

I've been feeling really uneasy about ME3 for a while, probably since the confirmation of multiplayer. Multiplayer is all well and good, but when they said it would be used to accumulate some resource used in the single player campaign, all sorts of red flags went up: What's the single player alternative for gathering that resource? Would they really offer compelling narrative context for gathering it in single player if they're hoping you'll skip that for multiplayer? Are repeatable MMO-like instances going to replace mining from ME2 and MAKO driving from ME as the gathering segment of the game, in single and multiplayer?

My doubts have only intensified as I've heard more and more rumors of leaked story bits that suggest a heavy retcon of your Shepard's actions, if they don't already align with the preset story of ME3.

This'll be the first Mass Effect game that I wait a couple months to pick up. That should be enough time to read numerous reviews, and to get some honest opinions on it as a conclusion to the trilogy after the launch goggles have faded.
