If that video wasn't pre-rendered at a PIxar-grade render farm somewhere, it was running on a $5,000 PC like everything else. If you think the current-gen consoles are capable of that, then I've got a bridge to sell you.

On the 8-4 play podcast and on many blogs they have reported that Kojima has said it is coming to PS3 and XBOX 360 and that he wants to get it out soon and not make players wait for it.

It might not look quite as good as that trailer, but I doubt they are stupid enough that it would be far off as they know people would be super disappointed. I think you need to be less cynical and have a hug.

"Ground Zero" means the hypocenter of a nuclear explosion. Hiroshima and Nagasaki were Ground Zeroes. It has nothing to do with 9/11 or kamikaze planes. Also, there's 3 extra minutes of gameplay on the IGN version of this video.

From the timeline, I would actually guess it is Liquid Snake. Raiden appears in MGS2 which takes place 14 years after Metal Gear which takes place 20 after Peace Walker. Raiden probably isn't born yet here. And considering the accelerated aging of the clones, it is probably one of them.

MGS's overarching story/plot got way too confusing for me long ago and the gameplay was not enough to hold my attention. That being said, I do appreciate Kojima's crazy brain and his take on making video games. The new engine looks pretty nice, might check it out for that.

Vita release = psp version... that's why they didn't release an"HD" version..... because as far as the vita and psp screen sizes are concerned Peace Walker is already in HD and since its a NEW game still it doesnt really need a remake yet... just sayin download it on psn/sen it's worth it for the story alone ;)
