B. Jenet might have my favorite pre-match animation ever in a fighting game. Chugs a tall cold one with her pirate bros and then they all just smash their glasses on the fucking ground. Now THAT is how you start a fight.

is it just me or is Brad really bad about blaming any failure or deficiency on the game/hardware?

I'm sorry everyone, and to you Rorie. But you have got to chill out on the streams. You don't need to tell us everything from the chat all the time. Just relax and let the good times happen naturally.

I've never had an iPhone, but all my iPods have broken in weird ways just after the warranty expired, and their USB charging cables and those ridiculously expensive earbuds tend to just dissolve, exposing all kinds of wiring, and iTunes is a total shitshow, so I'm kinda with Rorie, modern Apple products don't seem to be terribly high quality stuff, especially not at about 3 times the price of their competitor's products.

Despite Brad's statement, there is absolutely no reason children cannot view 3D images. So as it turns out, there is actually no good reason for the Nintendo 2DS.

Going to guess Nintendo did a little research

I'm surprised Brad had never played Money Puzzle Exchanger until now. The PSN version is totally fine on PS3, and when Vita got PS1 support it was the first game I installed (though it doesn't show up on the Vita store you need to transfer it from PS3).

I hadn't heard of a Neo Geo until I was like...I dunno, 16 or something? In 2004 or so? I don't think it looks all that impressive for what it costs, and the Genesis and SNES both had vastly superior libraries of games. Not sure what the appeal was there. I guess I was too young to appreciate the huge sprites or something but SNES games looked great to me.

Man, I wanted a neo geo so bad when I was a kid, but it seemed like the most unattainable thing ever

Yeah. It was this super expensive kind of rare to see thing that had games that looked soooooo much better than anything else available. Neo Geo was the holy grail of the schoolyard. Everyone knew what it was, and had seen it in person a time or two, but no one had one, and all spoke in hushed, awestruck tones of the fabled NeoGeo. o___o

Brocken is Inspector Gadget.

Garou MOTW best fighting game of all time. All time. Ever. All future games are competing for runner-up position.

Marco is correctly named Butt in the 360 version.

Aw man, no one picked Yamazaki in Real Bout. As a subscriber I'm disappointed. Haha. Samurai Showdown 2 is pretty awesome but Jeff calling it one of the best games is like him admitting that he likes anime. I remember playing a lot of Mark Of The Worves on Dreamcast and enjoying it. I always saw it as SNK: The New Class since a lot of the characters seem descended from the lineage of KoF fighters. Rock being Geese mixed with Terry, both of Kim's sons are in it, and even Butt (his name is Butt!) is a disciple of Ryo's art of fighting.

Owning an arcade system at home never felt reasonable until the Dreamcast. It seems like MVS owners were paying a premium to never leave the house which just seems crazy. Overall a pretty entertaining stream guys! Thanks and keep it coming!

Money Puzzle Exchanger can be had for 600 yen on the Japanese PSN. Piece of cake to make an account and 1000 yen cards are cheap to get hold of online.

It can also be had for $5.99 on the US PSN.

Holy crap. This should be a national headline imho!

Scary part is that Monkey Paw was selling it's raw Japanese ISOs on PSN for 50% off for Playstation Plus when it first came out, i snagged my copy at $3.00 and got some Magical Drop F while I was at it.

I've never seen Money Puzzle Exchange or heard tell of it outside of the occasional namedrop on the Bombcast... and I think I've just found my favorite Neo Geo game.

I'm a play me some Magical Drop V right now!

Samurai Shodown 2 is the main game I used to go to the arcade with a friend to play. Endless matches of Charlotte vs Hanzo or Kyoshiro vs Gen-an. Mashing vs. execution, but neither of us ever really got the upper hand. He's passed on now, and I don't feel any need to play it after having invested so much time previously. But it's nice to see it.

I've also been to the burrito place Rorie is talking about. He ain't lying, that place is TERRIBLE. Recently changed ownership, the original was INCREDIBLY bland and apparently the new owners decided the spice they were missing was SALT. Saltiest thing I've ever eaten. And one time I ate a big heaping bowl of SALT!

Helluva stream, guys! I had never actually seen Money Puzzle Exchanger, but it looks amazing. So any word on if the version on PSN is any good?
