Wow... the demo is actually pretty fun. It feels and looks about a thousand times better than the last one did; however you will absolutely want to turn off the music and the announcer (the way his sentences trail off is fucking irritating). They finally brought the series into the current generation. The terrain deformation and dual stick controls really don't seem like gimmicks.

To analogize, Pure is to RidgeRacer as Reflex is to NFS.

Now they just need to make a PWC game in the vein of Wave Race using the new controls and terrain deformation.

The demo's menu was horrifying.
Dirtbike sounds weird.
THQ's marketing department should join my suicide.
