I wasn't expecting DNF to ever to come out, but seeing how poorly gearbox handled their pc port of borderlands I have even lower expectations of it now.

I'd prefer a man who's passion is misguided then one who has none.  At least so far as creative endeavors are concerned. "

I bet some people will just buy the game no matter what because DNF has such a legacy behind it.

Good interview... Man I hope this game is good. The odds are definitely against it since the myth of the game has been hyped up so much it seems like a legend. Duke Nukem 3D is one of the best games of all time so I hope this game can at least catch the spirit of what its all about - then Duke may have a future. 

Seeing is believing, but I have faith in Randy. Hail the king!

Great video and a chance for Mr. Pitchford to lay those nasty rumors to rest.

I'm still waiting for my Borderlands 2. 

Long awaited sequel that will be the game everyone had hoped for.

I would love to work with Randy Pitchford some day. He's so enthusiastic about his games.

I like this guy.  He's clearly passionate and excited about what he does.  Good on him.

It feels weird to be on the precipice of Duke's release, but yeah I have to be a little skeptical until I play a demo and see a release date. 

This guy seem perfect to do the job. Alot of emotion there. 
I just hope to god it doesn't fail and at least...even If I personaly hate it,at least get a huge metacritic score!

Listening to Pitchford talk makes me feel like there is actually a glimmer of hope for Duke Nukem.

I'm liking Gearbox more and more these days.

I don't expect much from this game. But i cant wait to see what they do with it from scratch.

No doubt, Pitchford is a classy, awesome dude. Never thought I'd say it, but DNF is sounding like it's going to be great.

Is the HD version of this totally messed up for anyone else?  It's artifacting like crazy.

More than anything i am interested in this because of Gearbox. Borderlands is one of my favorite (and most played) games of all time... which is weird but true. Randy seems like a great and caring person who will do right by Duke. Gearbox is quickly becoming one of my favorite developers. I really hope it turns out to be a hit.

However the game comes out, Randy Pitchford definitely earns the "pitch" in his name. Dude is GOOD at this.

At least you can tell Randy Pitchford's enthusiasm is genuine. That doesn't change the fact that Duke Nukem Forever is still a First Person Shooter.

Randy is such a great interviewee. Most other people are like "no comment durr, next question pls", but Randy is more "I can't really say anything about that, but I'll go ahead and say something more interesting instead". Very enthusiastic indeed. 

Randy kind of looks like Josh Home from Queens of The Stone Age.

 Well, if anyone can changed the inherent meaning of DNF from "Did Not Finish" to Duke Nukem Forever, it will be Gearbox.

Pitchford is a pretty charismatic dude.

I still have fond memories of that Borderlands panel from PAX '09. Free pizza for everyone. Good times.

Borderlands is quite awesom so i am hoping for the best for this game.
But I still belive that the king is dead.

I like seeing a game developer who sees game production as more than just a job.

Randy Pitchford seems like an awesome guy, I love how he just had to throw in an extra thanks to his crew at the end of the interview. Seems like he really cares about developing and appreciates his team's talents.

I bet duke will have some dlc, ehhhhhhhh. i hate this industry.
