EDIT: No... I'm not going to buy this.

Why did he abduct Abigail again?

Posted by SpicyRichter

Please, for the love of my internal 10 year old, let this be good.

When I say internal 10 year old, I mean the 10 year old I keep inside all day.

He wasn't lying!

Edited by zeekthegeek

It is definitely the same guy doing the Scrooge voice; the actor is 93 years old.

Edited by JayDee

I want a new disney afternoon to come back with this show and talespin darkwing duck and rescue rangers gummi bears and all that crap right now!!!!

Posted by Dusk1020

Who am I kidding, I wasn't going to sleep anyway.

Posted by endub

Haha Scrooge sounds mad tired because he's voiced by a 94 year old man - literally.

Sneak attack Quick Look! (that was previously-announced, but still!)

I'm not used to Quick Looks popping up in the middle of the night. I guess I'll wait until tomorrow, as I can't laugh without waking up the kid. Hope it's good!

Duckhitler has been done back in 1942.

Also the ducktales comic came before the TV show.

And all the voice actors are the same from the TV show. If they are alive still they are in the game capcom said so.

Posted by Wampa1

@cubical: Yep same actor doing Scrooge, He probably sounds so tired since he's 93 years old.. might have been better just getting another voice actor to approximate him at the time.

Posted by RedSox8933

no love deep webby

Edited by maskedarcstrike

@wampa1: I think the cruella deville voice actor is actually 95 as well, the kids voice actors are in their 70's as well.

edit:I mean magicka despell >>

edit:gladstone gander was the duck with the kilt vinny

Posted by sterbacblu

Why did I even bother writing that Flintheart Glomgold wiki page on here and then they didn't even use it? Ah well... Can't wait to play this!

Edited by Cubical

@wampa1: Nope he sounds fine I can tell it's him no problem. They also sound pretty much the same. I just watched the show on DVD not that long ago.

Edited by Viking_Funeral

I like the look of it, but I can't see myself going back to this game.

And everybody loves Darkwing Duck.

Never had a NES so never played the original. I'm in need of a fun platformer, it's been too long since my last one!

blathering blatherskite

Posted by AngryGuy

I thought I wanted to relive Duck Tales but after seeing the previews for this game and this quick look I can say that in actuality I do not want to experience this again. This is one of those games better left in the past.

Posted by longish

Hey Brad, post the link of that CRT/Emulation plug-in modulators discussion please.

Edited by Cubical

So you are all saying the guy is now too old to play Scrooge Mcduck that is also very old and has been around the world and is known to be old and cranky at times as part of that character?

Or does it make him more authentic now to play the role than ever before?

Posted by Crippl3

I wouldn't buy this for $15. $10 or less on a Steam Sale, definitely.

Posted by spilledmilkfactory

Disappointed to see that this isn't a straight remake of the NES title, but still excited to see how this turns out

Posted by Rirse

Not only Scrooge's VA is in his 90s, but the VA for Magica is in her 90s as well! Also same VA Launchpad too. Also when looking that up, I found out Launchpad VA voiced Lilly's Dad in the Walking Dead game.

Posted by ScreamingGhost

Like a bunch have said Scrooge and Magicka's VO's are both 90 and Launchpad is in his 70's and after their illustrious careers gotta cut them a little slack.

@vinny Here you are Vinny. Calm your mind.

I guess we can finally dive into this quick look.

So with all the dialogue and what have you, this is an extra long new episode of Duck Tales that i've been waiting for? IM SOLD FOREVER

Posted by Marv101

Great going down memory lane and all but this.... actually looks kinda boring.

Edited by FreakGirl

Their name's are weird. I've only known the German version of the series in which Scrooge is called Dagobert and the kids are not Huey, Dewey and Louis but Tick, Trick and Track :D Can't remember the girls name, though :P

Edited by Sor_Eddie

And in a shocking twist of events, a game made by WayForward looks good visually but plays completely mediocre.

Edited by The_Ruiner

It's all the same voice actors..they're just much much older now...

Buying this on nostalgia fueled endorphin rush alone..

Edited by vulkans

I was really excited to hear the new Moon theme and then Vinny broke my heart.

Edited by how92

they can't bring back all those old shows when Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures is tearing it up on Disney XD..... I'm really sad now with wear Disney XD has gone
