CANNOT WAIT.  Demons' Souls was soooo good.  More of the same is exactly what I want.

The people with the personality type to enjoy this series should apply that patience, work ethic and never quit attitude to things like scaling Everest, curing cancer and fixing Sony security. 
 
After playing Demon's Souls I think anyone that can finish that game and love it can do anything, ANYTHING, they want.

Demon's Souls is one of the greatest games I've played this generation.  Few games bring such a range of emotion and accomplishment as Demon's Souls did.  I am very pumped for this game. 

  After playing Demon's Souls I think anyone that can finish that game and love it can do anything, ANYTHING, they want.

Are you prepared for Dark Souls? Because Dark Souls is prepared for you, and it'll tear you a new asshole.

@Ventilaator: Hopefully, it'll just come down to a greater variety of  traps i.e. ways to die. Difficulty wise Demon's Souls was fine like it was, I think.

And, multi-platform release programmed by 2 different companies?  Has that ever happened before?  

I can't say I'm too hyped for Dark Souls, but I will buy it, play it, and probably enjoy it. I'm just a little concerned that it will be too much like Demon's Souls (ie exactly the same as), I don't think Demon's Souls is without faults, and to say "here is more of the same" and not talk about improvements (specifically tutorial and narrative wise) just seems off to me.

Is Sean Bean doing voice work for this? I'm pretty sure I heard his voice in this trailer.

I wouldn't worry too much about the terrible "OMG DARK SOULS WILL KILL U" marketing. That shit is coming from Namco, not From.

What this really needs is a good way to play coop with a buddy. Demons' Souls you had to go through so many hoops to try and play 2 player with a friend that it just wasn't worth it. The game actively dissuaded trying to play with a buddy.
 
Other then that, I loved Demons' souls, will probably love this too.

Lawl... I am on my fifth playthrough on my second character >.< Muahahahahahahahah and im starting a third!

@Ventilaator: Why would making the game harder be bad? Demons souls was hard at first and was fine once you understood how to play. To make it harder would mean the joy of finishing things would be that much more awesome.

Bring it to PC, please.

Aaaah, how I have waited for this; how I have spent many nights replaying Demon's Souls, over and over again, teaching other players just how annoying a vicious enemy can be when he can rust your equipment with spells.. Yees..
