Outbreak would be amazing with today's online capabilities. Generic squad-based shooter n+1 strikes me as significantly less interesting.  Doesn't mean I won't get it, or that I'm not super stoked for more RE as a whole, but... I dunno. Outbreak's probably one of my favorite things ever made, and I prefer classic RE over RE4-5 gameplay, so it's hard to be excited when they choose this over all the wonderful possibilities. "

DOUBLE LETTERBOXING FOR DOUBLE THE FUN

I can say I'm not looking forward to this game. Well, i'm interested in learning more, possibly to assuage my fears about it, but...  the game seems like it's mainly going to be humans vs humans, with some monsters in between, and I don't come to Resident Evil to fight other humans! Again, maybe the actual game isn't this, but that's what it seems like so far.
 
I'd rather Capcom just spend their resources remaking RE2. >=[

But therein lies the charm of Leon, and pretty much anything made after Capcom realized they couldn't just get a bunch of English speaking guys from finance to do the dialogue. I'll take the intentionally weird characterization of the 00s to the B-movie quality characterization of the 90s. "

Also, I'd rather they continued the Plagas than go back to T-Virus zombies.  Plagas guys were interesting to fight, zombies are zombies.  I think Plagas guys saved that damn franchise as much as over-the-shoulder perspectives did.

Eeeeeeeh....
When I heard about the game, I was all "sweet, maybe it'll be really cool," but now I'm worried for the game. I only say that based off a very scant amount of information, so who knows, but what was shown isn't doing much for my hopes.

This trailer is funny for all of the wrong reasons.

I always felt like The Raccoon City stuff was long done and that they had to move on, but I guess this is would have to be an appropriate setting for this kind of game?

So take Left 4 Dead, remove fluid first person control, add last generation 3rd person controls.

Well it certainly looks a lot like Left 4 Dead. I'm interested to see what they're adding to the concept... I hope it's something good because I'm still playing L4D.
