I'm not being dramatic, but that was the best Trailer for a video game I've ever seen. 
 
The music was great.

Played the demo and to be honest, wasn't that impressed, i felt like i was playing a variant of Batman Arkham Asylum....which felt a lot better than this did. I was looking forward to this but after the demo, i'm not so sure now

Saw the vid: "Holy fuckin shit that was awesome! Song selection was superb for this. I was truly touched dear sirs."
 
This trailer alone will make me reconsider my initial plan not to buy due to DRM restrictions.

a seriously awesome trailer. i wasnt to hot on the demo but i bet the full game from start to finish will be insane! sam fisher is one bad ass dude

Weird, I had a better impression of the graphics from their E3 demo.
 
We shall see about the sonar goggles. In a recent showing on GameSpot, the dude said that Sam would get some of his old equipment back and he specifically mentioned the goggles. If the 3 dots are green and they tint the screen in a green tone, I don't care if they supposedly work sonar-based.

Johny Cash, and yet fits the video perfectly... while MW 2 trailer got me pumped, this one got me on the edge. Great trailer.

Awsome trailer!  Love how at 1:15 the shot of Sam Fisher "executing" the dude matches up with the beat of the music. 

I am super super bummed that this is exclusive to the XBox. Luckily my roommate has an XBox so provided he buys it... I'll be able to play it.  
 
I've loved me some Splinter Cell for a long ass time and this looks awesome.

NVG are the one think that is keeping me interested in this game ;)

Yeah... no. While I like the MGS series better then Splinter Cell, the gameplay in SC has always been much better. The game looks really good, you probebly should turn up the quality in the video a bit and you'll notice it too. Also, Conviction has been in development long before MW2 and I seriously doubt they added a white house level just because another game had it. And concidering that the whole premice of the game is built on goverment conspiricy and cover ups its a pretty logic place to have a level.  Theres no need to start bashing and lashing out at a game that for all we've seen of it looks to be really awesome.  You really should seperate your own personal preferences and the quality of a game. Just because you don't like a game or gameseries doesn't make them bad, they just aren't games for you. "

That's not the white house it's the Pentagon.  And since you mention logic, it would actually be illogical for it to be the white house since the white house is simply a figure head type building and the Pentagon tends to be where all the main special forces/intelligence decision get made. So since the Third Echelon is a secret branch of the Pentagon in-game It makes even more sense for them to do it there. "

Badass: The Game strikes again. That trailer was maybe one of the most awesome trailers of this year so far imo.
