I distinctly remember listening to everything that the narrator said (twice now,) but I can't actually remember any of the words.

I don't really know what's really going on here besides lasers.

Brad, you pickled cheesedog, this isn't a bullet hell shooter as your description led me to believe. I am disappointed.

I am curious if anyone got excited by this trailer, I personally think it was extremely annoying with the one second footage intertwined with black screens. And I still have no clear indication about what kind of game it is and why I should want to play it. I guess you are in a little spaceship?

@zoner: I wish I could play it on PS3 but it seems Microsoft is publishing. So it might have been an exclusivity bullshit train or no game at all... :(

I'll wait for some actual gameplay footage before I buy this with my money.

@jozzy: I agree completely. I have NO idea why I should care. I saw the headline; that's the only reason I clicked on the video and it does NOT look like a bullet hell shooter - it BARELY looks like a shmup.

This reminds me of one of those games contestants would play for 30 seconds on Nick Arcade.

Those quick fades irritate me way more than they interest me. Brief glimpses of pieces of a game might work, if the images contained within elicited some sort of reaction. This is just basically a slideshow of the game's level design.

so showing us the many ways we can die will get us to buy this game?   think not.

I did not get excited, and I'm with you on thinking the trailer was mildly annoying, and basically pointless. The constant fades to black were idiotic, and the voiceover told me nothing other than it has standard JRPG villain philosophy in it, aka grade school philosophy.

Saw the Grasshopper Manufacture logo and was immediately interested.

So, judging from what I could see in that trailer it's an old-school side-scrolling shooter right down to the insane difficulty? I am OK with that, but the fact that the trailer showed nothing more than two second segments of players dying it makes me think that there is not anything unique that this game brings to the table. I'll have to see more.

I'm with you; it was awful. Not only are the clips ridiculously short, they're all shots of (what I presume is) the player ship blowing up - and not in particularly interesting ways. This doesn't sell me on the game or even make me interested in it. What a terrible trailer.

seriously tho my biggest irk with this genre is that all the games get lumped together , and now some are clearly going for the catchphrase of "bullet hell" even tho the developers dont seem to understand what makes it bullet hell, they are just diluting the genre now , sine mora does look like a pretty game dont get me wrong , just it looks mechanicly bland and uninteresting , something i said about jamestown until i actually played it, so im looking forward to being proven wrong again but i dont think it will do much for me.

How strong does the language in a game have to be in order for it to be rated M on that alone?

Actually, come to think of it, given it's a bullet hell Shmup, it's probably judged by the words that come out of a player's mouth after the umpteenth death rather than what's actually said in the game (believe me, I've played DoDonPachi: Resurrection on the iPhone and I'm still chasing Hibachi).

someone really needs to put a normalizer on the videos of this site, the giantbomb made videos are super super quiet and the advertisements are super loud ..

@Ciffy: That dense are we? It's a SHMUP in the vein of Gradius and Einhander. Anyone with a brain could've deduced that from the snippets we saw.

I'm not a fan of the Quickly Fade Between One Second Clips style of trailer.

I'm kinda interested as it's a Grasshopper shoot em up, but that was still a terrible trailer
