@ITSSEXYTIME: Point taken but I don't think I was contradicting myself at all. What I meant to say is that between the time that Arkham Asylum went out into the market and the time that would have taken to implement said game mechanic from Arkham Asylum into Splinter Cell is just too short. Just a clarification but I do get your point about the similarities.

About the gameplay, sure, they are simplifying it to the point that the finesse and the amount of patience needed in past stealth games is almost non-existent but to me at the very least it would only lessen those frustrating moments of getting caught and getting punished for it. At least now, you can still play as stealthily as in previous games but if you do get caught you have more options now in dealing with it.

Words can't describe how excited I am for this new Splinter Cell game! The first Splinter Cell game is my all-time favorite game, and I've played every other game (except for the original X-Box Version of Double agent) since then. Sam looks so badass, and the Mark and Execute feature looks really cool and original to me.

Last but not least, the Interrogation sequences look so dang brutal and intense.  I simply can't wait to play it, and also Mass Effect 2.
