A whole new look of Sam Fisher. Awesome. And I think there would be the trademark goggle at some point in the game.

Am I the only one quite decidedly unexcited about this? Ubisoft has a habit of reinventing game franchises that I love, and every single reinvention has made me stop buying the series. From the trailers I've seen, including this one, it seems like they're taking away everything that's unique to the series. If I want to shoot people with shotguns, there are way better games out there for that. Throughout the trailers, I have seen practically no evidence of actual stealth. It just seems like Sam shooting people all over the place.

Kinda sounds like night vision sounds at the end uh oh somebody might be losing $50 lol. lso i remember in the promo pics from e3 seeing the 3 light logo replaced by three bullet holes.

Give him the goggles. Or at least make the three green points a symbole throughout the game, like a checkpoint, aim or whatever.

I think they're trying to make Fisher a vigilante/anti-hero in a Punisheresque way - he's cool, you like him, but the more you know about him you feel that he's a dangerous man going through a serious mental breakdown. I kinda like it, this makes Fisher more of an actual character than just the PC of Splinter Cell.

The whole point of this game is to reinvent the franchise and the stealth action genre, giving him all his equipment at the end would defeat the entire purpose.

This game went from almost nowhere to being heavily hyped, I just hope that the controls and presentation are up to what everyone expects...

This game looks friggin sweet, but it seems weird that Sam Fisher justifies killing so many people with the death of his daughter. If death justified death, humanity would be extinct.

I'm also backing Vinny's Night Vision Theory.

I'm predicting the final mission is a direct 'attack' on the agency and at some point during the mission you'll find your old equipment, Fisher will say something like "Just like old times" and will then put the equipment on.

This is Game of the Year no doubt in my mind.

It was my biggest surprise of E3, and it looks awesome still..

This is...beyond a doubt...my most anticipated game this year.

Looks like Ubisoft has guaranteed sales from the Giant Bomb community, everybody here wants to know if Sam get's the goggles. :P

Looks awesome, but it sucks that the trailer takes place in the same mansion. I want more scenarios!
