Instancing doesn't necessarily mean loading, just that you'll not always be with other players.
Which in my opinion, is a good thing.
 
Making more of a single player orientated story, where you only meet up with others for key events or PVP and raiding, etc, seems like a better way to handle things.

Frigging hate instancing so I'll pass. 
 
Need my worlds to feel seamless and not a bunch of loading screens every 30 seconds like Age of Conan. 
 
Blizzard used Phasing so if theres one thing to copy then copy that because it doesn't break immersion.
