So, the wiiU and the gamepad harmonize? Cool. And Nintendo won't allow to show that the gamepad and controller harmonize because of it's copyright dealy? Huh.

I'm all for chip tunes but isn't it a bit depressing for the most creatively charming developer to so constantly rely on their own cultural nostalgia? soon they'll base a game based on a popular youtube sketch about Mario were it's "Mario in real life" or something. Again that idea sounds fun but they used to have to rely on new crazy ideas like "z targeting." they were known for they originality, now they only emulate this by referencing past creations or being the first do something with a controller. I hope against hope that the wii u bombs so that nintendo may be at a wits end again and use their talented creatives to play russian roulette with their company.

There's a difference between "marketed towards children" and something that's meant to appeal to everyone.

You are not an "adult gamer" if you have such a childish sense of self that you need to be seen playing "adult" games to validate yourself as an "adult". Nintendo games are not aimed at "children", they are aimed at "everyone", because people of any age can enjoy them. Sesame Street is aimed at children. Games like Mario and Zelda are not.

By the by, I can almost guarantee that whatever games you consider "adult" are actually not very adult. Regardless of the age rating on the box, games like Call of Duty have huge appeal to younger gamers. (My 13 year old brother is way more into those games than anyone I know.) Unless you play nothing but hardcore strategy games and flight simulators. I guess you could call those more...adult-ish. (Then again, I played Flight Simulator as a kid, so maybe not.)
