Just got back from giving a freedom stream.

That was America.

That first level looks terrible compared to the other ones in PD.

I actually bought a Xbox360 because of this game.

Drew looks like an outfielder now. Either that or a Hawaii Five-O villain. He's young and reckless and into the drugs.

And yeah, Drew, play Mortal Kombat. I am highly inept with fighters, but I still taught myself enough of that game to have a good time with it. And I never even played it locally, which would have helped.

Also, holy shit. I sort of want to get my 360 working just so I can play Rockstar Table Tennis again. That game was amazing.

I think they're even being too kind to Perfect Dark Zero. The controls were a little better after they patched it, but it was just the worst. Awful, awful game.

For the record, PDZ was first developed for the Gamecube, actually. Then of course Rare moved over to Microsoft, so then it was an Xbox title. That didn't work out and it became a 360 game.

The multiplayer in PDZ is awful but it really makes me long for a good silly multiplayer shooter like the Timesplitters games or something in that vein.

I can't figure out the Crash Time tutorial voice guy's accent. It sound like maybe he is native German speaker, who also has spoken french as second language since childhood. Then, at some point later, learned english in... Ireland? And then spent some time in the states?

Jeff seems to hate so many games that I love. C'mon, Mario Kart 64 was the best! (even though it was the only one I played.)

Mario Kart 64 is and always will my favorite mario kart. It's the first and only Mario Kart game I've spent a lot of time with, and I'm totally fine with that. It's just such a singular experience for me since the series lives and dies by the one game I played as a kid. The Mario Kart rule stands true in my case. The gamespot review is pretty terrible as well. It's sounds like it's written by an old ass cranky man. And that was back in 97! I can only imagine how that dude feels today. I suppose I have old ass cranky men like Jeff to look to. <3

Can't blame a person for liking what they like! But yeah, his game tastes don't really line up with mine all that often, but I think that's why I find it even more interesting to hear him discuss games - being in a metaphorical echo chamber is boring. I agree though, I find it weird that people are surprised at this point - unless they just started coming to the site / following these personalities that we all know and love, in which case not so much. Even divorced from that, people should try and understand other people's points of view on things though, it makes you a more well-rounded person :)

To be on topic, glad this stream is up now, missed about 90% of it yesterday! Yay freedom!

Anyone know where? That show looks cool, and I want to check it out in all its German glory.

Been playing Mario Karts since Super Mario Kart, and for many years, Mario Kart 64 was my favorite entry in the series. It was the one I had the fondest memories of; of standing in a Toys 'R Us during Christmas and playing 4p split screen with other kids on their giant 50 inch TV while my Mom shopped for presents.

It was also when the Blue Shell actually was useful and not just cheaply stupid. And so many good tracks! Kalamari Desert, for fuck's sake! Toad's Turnpike! Moo Moo Farm!

Eff anybody who doesn't think Mario Kart 64 was awesome!
