Exactly what I was thinking. Damn good graphics, but when it started showing shooting gameplay, it just felt like any other shooter around. Let's wait and see.

@Fontan: yea i think part of it was that they maybe they had it on easy? for demo purposes even though it wasnt playable? not sure. like the enemies diddn't seem that smart but yea i guess well see. looks amazing though.

I can't wait for this to be released, and having Activision make a feeble attempt at challenging it with MW3. I generally like Call of Duty but it's been in a coma since the fourth one, and I believe Battlefield 3 will simply blow the head off that series.

Oh, and those fighter jets looked fucking great.

Thats because Frostbite2 engine 
take full advantage of the  DX 11 (10?) on PC 
with no support for DX9 (nor, therefore, Windows XP) .

I wouldn't buy it without one but that's mostly because I have a 360 and i think it's fucking stupid to pay for something free everywhere else.

this looks really fucking stupid. everything, but especially the part with the sniper. TAKE A SHOT WHEN THE ENEMY IS BEHIND COVER, THEN LET THEM RUN TO THE NEXT COVER, LIKE FOUR TIMES IN A ROW. SO REAL.

the only reason I will check this game out is the multiplayer

I'm underwhelmed by this. I feel like I've played this game already about 6 times. Other than it being pretty and the destruction which is just window dressing I'm not seeing much reason to get excited by this video.
