You know, I never actually saw this show and probably never will but I have to say that 3D on TV has come a long way.
 
However, the voice over guy sounds like he is trying way too hard.

SOE Mess up Galaxies, Bioware get the goodness IP and are giving it some Sexy Bioware Love and SOE get thown a little bone with this.
Bet it uses a modified Galaxies engine and some of that spare hardware from that.
 
For me this would be aimed at kids more then anything? Older kids?
 
If that is the case then it clearly needed to be free as they can not do a monthly subscription. Being aimed at these it will be quite simple for them to get into and not for annoying who likes WOW or the old galaxies. Will be to simplistic for those folk.
 
Question next to ask is how this will generate revenue?

SOE really messed up Galaxies and wasted it's potential but this is free to play so you can't expect much from this game.

Funny how this trailer says this is the "first ever clone wars online virtual world." It's not the first ever free to play mmo, it's not the first ever clone wars video game, but it's the first ever free to play mmo based on the clone wars cartoon developed by SOE set for release in 2010.

 No such thing as a free MMO. You'll have to use paypal on Dagobah to complete your Jedi training.

This does nothing to raise my opinion of SOE.  Galaxies was botched and this looks none too impressive.

It didn't look that good in a trailer, and a trailer is a collection of the best parts. Yay killing Star Wars. :D

I'm sure anybody who is a Star Wars fan or a Bioware fan will know which one will be the better game, I can see confusion in the market and possibly Bioware getting burned by the person who doesn't know.

This...this...just looks terrible. I know it's a kids game, but come on, who would want to raise their kids on that monstrosity?
To be honest it has a real 'kiddie' feel to it and I was expecting a fart joke at any second, especially from that one alien girl that's never been a part of the star wars mythos until the 3D version of clone wars, the one that's Anakin's padawan or something?
Now if this was based on the 15 minute animated shorts where Grievous was a bad-ass then I'd be a little more interested.

I know the Star Wars logo is supposed to make it read: "Star Wars: The Clone Wars Adventures" 
But like all other Star Wars properties, I can't help but read it as "Star The Clone Wars Adventures Wars"

Doesn't look like absolute garbage, but why are they even making this game to begin with? Free MMO= mircro transactions, so this just looks like something to make a little extra cash on the side. Also did I see some tower defense type stuff going on?

Star Clone Wars Adventures Wars? At any rate, hopefully this will reduce the number of immature players in ToR.
