Yay, I love the tanooki suit. Brings back so many good memories from Mario Bros 3, but I hope they keep the turning into a statue power of it.

This looks so much better than I thought it would be. No preview I've read has ever been very positive. Makes me glad I have a 3DS.

Didn't we know this months ago? This game's not getting me to re-purchase a 3DS anytime soon. Nothing can with the current beta hardware.

Nintendo should make more games about jumping plumbers - I don't think they've made enough of them yet.

The camera gets really zoomed in at some points, just seems weird because it looks to be cutting off a lot of stuff.

This may end up being the only 3DS game I buy from now until the end of this year. Nothing else interests me.

The eShop plug would've worked better if they put it at the START of the video before I'd already watched it.

I used to love Mario games, the NES ones and Super Mario World are classics, but lately I've just stopped caring about them. Just bringing back some suits from the old (better) games and including familiar musical motifs is not really enough. Oh, and giving Mario a voice was a bad idea. Sorry for being a negative Nancy.

I'd love to see Miyamoto's time to be used on creating something new. Pikmin was refreshing and fun, but that was a decade ago. Although last time Miyamoto did something new it was Wii Music... Never mind.

but Super Mario 64DS didn't have analog stick support (cause the DS didn't have one). this is not the case here so what's holding you back?

that's like the reveal about BF3 having jets(gamescom iirc), that shit was well-known before this trailer. Also not having all skills from earlier is kind of lame.

Right now this just seems like "Babby's First Mario Game".

As fun as it can be seeing classic elements in modern Mario games, I'm getting kind of tired of seeing flagpoles. The rest seems good though. I'm holding out hope for this game.

I recall a recent-ish Miyamoto interview where he said he really wants to start a new IP, but basically said they need to finish Pikmin 3 first, so he had been pushing his team to get it done - But I'm pretty sure that was before the Wii U announcement and Pikmin getting moved over, so who knows the status. It's definitely overdue

Thought Galaxy was good, thought Galaxy 2 was friggin' amazing.  Curious how this one will stack up.
 
I got my Mario and I got my Sonic coming to the 3DS.  If I just get a new Castlevania, Contra, and maybe a new Mega Man series, I might have to finally by one of these damn systems (after the redesign, of course).

nintendo should stop making videogames.

I'm getting tired of Nintendo's franchises, but maybe it's just the dated hardware / visual style.

Also finally a goddamn proper trailer. It boggles my mind why there are so few 3D trailers in the eShop past the E3 stuff.
