Guess what, we made a throw away cartoon series to sell toys in the 80s...now we're having a little trouble fleshing out anything meaningful, but fuck it, robots still turn into things.

Yeah hopefully they don't screw things up like they did with the last release for the PC. Couldn't rebind keys, EXTREMELY limited video options. A 3rd party had to release a fix so your frame rate could be unlocked rather than stuck at 30.

Please the company didn't seem to think patches were necessary. I will not be buying this when it comes out. I will wait and see if they don't shit on PC gamers like they did last time.

You know, I'm a fan of Beast Wars, but I really don't see that ship ever setting sail again. Nostalgia for it just isn't high enough to make Hasbro take notice, I don't think. Maybe, if this G1 nostalgia ever starts to wear thin, they'll revisit it in some form, but I highly doubt it. I don't think it ever really sunk its hooks into people the way G1 did, even though it was, for the most part, a much more ambitious and better-written series.

Wow, this looks pretty bad ass. I'm SO glad they aren't following any of the Bay movie storylines (or as it looks any of the movies design choices for the transformers themselves) since the previous transformers game High Moon did kinda sucked. The original they did back in what, 2007 or whatver, that was a good game.

Like the last one this may not win any Game-of-the-Year awards but I'm just happy to see someone doing something right with the Transformers license for a change.

Normally I'd agree, but the multiplayer in WFC was such a great surprise. The single player wasn't amazing but it was still fun, I'm sure this one'll tick all the boxes for me too.

Pretty sure it's Bruticus. You saw the Combaticons form to make him in the previous Metroplex reveal trailer.

I was pleasently surprised with how much I enjoyed War Of Cybertron and they're doing a ton of fan service to the Transformers that I love. Way hyped after this trailers.

I didn't know that Flash Media players were this vicious.

Shockwave sent drones to other plants too scan more powerful modes for the Decepticons and one of them went to Prehistoric Earth and he than experimented on five captured Autobots making the Dinobots.

Metroplex is the last Transformer that I ever had. Loved that big dude.

Excited for this AND High Moon Studios latest Marvel project.

I really think High Moon Studios has done a very respectable videogame interpretation and adaptation of the Transformers universe. I dig the style, I dig the tone, I dig the looks. There's a good compromise between old and new. The games were solid, but nothing revolutionary. That may have been all that I needed, though.

But what IS the Matrix?!

Agreed. If you're going to have a franchise about robots that transform into vehicles and dinosaurs, this is the ONLY way to play it. Melodrama can ABSOLUTELY work if you lean into it in JUST the right ways.

Same. The vs multiplayer was also stupid fun - and I don't tend to like competitive stuff in my games usually.

Hopefully they've improved on that as well as the singleplayer. The fact that it was so limited with only 2 maps (no DLC for PC of course) and the host connection issues were annoying and limited the fun.

Also, for as many complaints about the port job as there were, it looked great and ran fantastic so I really didn't mind a 30FPS cap (which could easily be circumvented) and lack of visual options.
