I can't imagine what the footage they left out when editing this together looks like. Apparently shots of someone slowly climbing down a ladder and shining a flashlight around a brightly lit alley beat them out.

It definitely gives you that "it was all a dream, licensed games can never be good" feeling.

I could deal with the awful graphics on enemies just as I would playing System Shock - and in a way the environments look sort of comic booky and unreal, which can be interesting.

But the AI looks nonexistent, 1 attack pattern only, and that just kills any interest. Hopefully it's a mistake. Even with such a good IP, the enthusiast press would eviscerate sales of something like this.

The game doesn't look like it's at any stage to be shown to the masses.

this is oh so very unsurprising. This is Activision! The reigning world champion of publishing the worst licensed video game trash in the industry.

That was some pre-alpha stuff guys. This game is not ready for a trailer.

This looks like a mod for L4D2. Fireaxe? Check. Mausoleums? Check. Valve's signature empty white store shelves? Check.

Telltale has no chance.

Am I supposed to want to play this game after seeing this? Because I do not, sir! Please, just throw in the towel on this game. The Walking Dead game we want to play already happened.

Haha, my thoughts exactly. Regardless of the quality of the game itself, this is just a bad "trailer".

So, one guy can make a game like Slender using the Unity dev tools and royalty free assets in, IIRC, a few days/couple weeks. I think I even read that most of it was coded during a 48-hour game jam (but I could be wrong about that).

Then there's this thing from an actual game studio. Geez, I wouldn't even release this footage if I were a one-man indie game creator, unless I were trying to show off how much of a game I could create in one sitting, or maybe one weekend.

Why is all the zombie hair so shiny? They look like zombified Ken dolls.

That release date should've been 2014! This game really needs some work!

This and what's baffling to me is that AMC let there name be put on this garbage, even if it does tie into the show its still not something they should associate themselves with.

I know, right? I feel like a scary amount of games took large steps backwards in art direction this generation. I mean, Silent Hill 3 still has better character models and textures than most big budget games today.

One of the worst game trailers in recent history.

The ESRB warning on this is accurate. This content is definitely inappropriate for children, especially if they want to grow up to be game devs.

I have to agree, this cannot be anywhere close to being finished. It looks like a bad fan-trailer for some unfinished mod. How is that possible?

This looks like it plays like an N64 game, but with updated (but still not that good) graphics.

Worst game trailer of 2013 so far

now, put aside the terrible graphics and imagine, only imagine, if this game could be the most perfect zombie apocalypse simulator ever made, with tightly balanced mechanics and features to ensure tension and excitement for long stretch of gameplay sessions. Imagine if the fantastic voice actors could let your imagination surpass those bland graphics to really pull you in the world and immerse you with a tale of desperation, survival and redemption. Only imagine that... I mean: just imagine that.

Oh man, this is the sequel to last year's awesome TWD game, right? Totally gonna get this!

As far as I know, the music in 28 days later was all composed by John Murphy. I think the song you're looking for is "In a house, In a heartbeat"

I straight up hate that this game exists. It and the Walking Dead Facebook game (or whatever) should be more ashamed of themselves in the wake of The Actual Fucking Walking Dead game. They should not be allowed to do this. They should lose their licence to do the show for trying this shit, this is terrible.

This had better be a really early version of the game, otherwise they are in trouble. I don't know who thought releasing this was a good idea. Even if the game is good when it comes out, a lot of people are going to hold this against it.

Behold, Activision is well aware of the reaction that this game will get after the blitzkrieg that the Telltale game turned out to be they released this video to preemptively bury this game. No company releases a work in progress video of this poor quality unless they're trying to set the game up for a massive fall. Most people in my opinion were not looking forward to this game to begin with and now, I don't think anyone is saying "I really want to play this."
