As a fellow diabetic, people don't appreciate telling them what you can and can't do. Diabetics can drink, and in most cases, especially if they're accounting for what they're drinking, is perfectly fine to do so.

The one Ryan calls the owner of the inventory is actually from the Tales of Monkey Island series. The more you know.

Dave's at home with a new baby, he does not have time to be at the office. I agree some type of video dedicated to this change would have been nice though.

In the end we all talked about doing something on the front page but Dave seemed to want to keep things mellow. In the end he's home most days with his new baby, so it's tough to do much fanfare for him. He said he'd be around for a livestream next week where we can all talk about this stuff, so look forward to that! No one, especially not me, can underestimate what Dave has meant to GB over the years, so don't think that a lack of front page acclimation means that we're doing anything underhanded.

I would've been happy to show some more of MoP, but in the end it's tough to show off a lot of that game to anyone in a 15-minute interval. I would've been happy to use my tank insta-queue to get into a heroic, but I would've also felt bad about quitting out on a group after we got done with the show. I have a lot of fun with MoP; it's just tough to demonstrate that in a very short period of time. I'll find a more appropriate game the next time I'm on, I guess!

I unfortunately have some password issues over there - I tried to login again recently. I'll see if I can figure those out sometime.

MoP is really the best the game has ever been. Although I can't really say much about PvP. I heard they decided to just equalize everyone's ilvl in PVP recently so that no one has a ridiculous advantage over anyone else. Might be worth checking out!

It was awesome seeing Rorie back in action, but this was probably the worst unprofessional Fridays yet. Not having Patrick, Brad and Drew really hurt this show this week and why was Vinny on set for only like 20 minutes?

Did TNT get boned this week? I wanted to go back into the Lang zone.

@rorie: I never thought there was anything underhanded, just a bit weird to see a major crew member leave without anything in the news section of the frontpage. Not everyone scours the forums and it's easy to miss the blogs which which in this case were an important part of the site. I think most people here come to GiantBomb not so much for the deeply analytical games coverage but rather the personality of the cast that they grew to like over the years. I just felt it was odd that I am more informed about which CEO is leaving which game game studio than who's working at the website I visit multiple times a day.

Either way, really loving the way you're interacting with the community Rorie! Great to have you back.

I actually really want more WoW coverage on the site. I just meant that the zones and instances in MoP make a much better immediate impression, as far as just the visual presentation, especially to people like Jeff who have such a stonewall attitude towards WoW.

Maybe you can do more stuff with WoW on another video feature where you can have more time, and less trolling comments from people on the couch!

I'm not a huge poker fan but I am really interested in the telltale-ness of this and basically I want to know how much borderlands 2 stuff I can unlock from this.

Only 7 minutes in but did everyone have the hump when they filmed this? Ryan just looks like he's ready to kill at the mere mention of WoW and Jeff also has a face like thunder when they start poker.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, Jeff especially seems to really dislike that thing. It doesn't seem like there's much there to actively dislike just seems like one of those things you're either into or you ignore. *shrug*

The wrong voice on Ash actually makes me hate playing this game. It feels weird to say, but it just really makes the guy not make sense or fit in at all. It's awkward to listen to.

Yea. I remember him getting all hot and bothered on the bombcast when it was rumored that this would be a Panderan expansion. I think he was just doing his a-hole schtick. He kind of goes overboard with it at times.

Dave has always been an understated guy. Him choosing to go out the way he did was an all-Snyder move.

WoW seems to have become insane in the 5 years it's been since I played.

If you followed any of the crew on twitter (including dave), you would have seen that he made a great farewell post explaining what he's up to, and as it was said, Matt also made a great blog about his return.
