@unastrike: Whats the first game Rorie's playing?

Wow, this is Dragon Age: Inquisition? I haven't been following the game since E3 but this looks like a completely different game.

If you decide to play Risk please do not play the original Risk... Both Risk Legacy and Risk 2210 A.D. are better versions of Risk with the max (5) players.

Legacy is a campaign game and thus will be more interesting when you play it repetitively with the same group. 2210 A.D. is probably better suited, for when you want to play it once or twice.

Though I wouldn't call myself a fan of Risk, I do really enjoy boardgames in general and would love to see them explore one every once in a while.

@ravelle: Jim Belushi and Jouis Gosset Jr. star in The Principal, they are both total bad asses. Saw it when I was probably way too young to see it (probably about 8) and as much as I love The Substitute I always felt like ut was a knock off. . .still freakin' awesome though

I was hoping they'd bring in Alexa (it's her first or second week though, so I guess she's probably too busy) or some other guest, but oh well. These UPF's where there's only the usual gang have been kind of tough to watch lately. It's always relied a lot on the games they bring in, but a lot of the time the energy isn't really there either.

Jeff checking out the book was awesome, though.

I love that Dan played Redneck Rampage. I love that game! I still have my original disk of that. The soundtrack is sooo ridiculous it's great.

The Substitute was awesome when I was a teen.. Ahhh, late night cable movie channels back before it was all porn after 12, it was bad action movies with the possibility of nudity... Its been a loong time

I always enjoy the show but I really wish they'd play more couch multiplayer games that get everyone involved. Show has been a bit dry lately.

When we watched it live Jason forgot to switch over audio for the first minute or so and we just heard the intro music. The archive picks up from the moment he switched the audio back to the studio - you didn't miss much it was only about a minute.

I looked up the Bully soundtrack. It's really good.

I'm still amazed that we've managed to get actual gameplay footage of WWE Supercard on UPF. Good job, Jeff.

That Sega book actually looks pretty low-rent for the price they want. The giant empty spaces on pages and just having simple spot-varnishing for the cover especially. The Doug Tennapel books I kickstarted for less money have a much higher production quality. And that's not bringing Dark Horse's masterful and incredibly affordable Hellboy hardcovers into the equation.

But that is some pretty sick Streets of Rage art.

Vertical split is far superior for racing games like Mario Kart. You aren't doing quick 180s on the spot or lining up exact shots like in an FPS.

Brad's completely right. Horizontal FOV is more important than vertical when you're talking splitscreen orientations. Important to see your peripheral.
