I remember being a huge fan of 'On The Spot', Gamespots gaming related video-zine. One day, a little over ten years ago I was surprised and dismayed to find out Jeff had been fired from Gamespot for telling the truth about about a video game. next day I was surprised to find out Vinny had walked out of Gamespot. Over the next few weeks Rory would leave, then Ryan, then Brad, then Alex in a heroic show of solidarity.

I was devastated since most of the 'on the Spot' team had absconded. Where would I get my 'no BS' gaming news now? To my joy, Ryan Jeff and Vinny announced they where starting there own damn gaming website called Giantbomb. Rory, Brad, Alex would also join and they would all go on to become hugely successful and famous.

Later CBS Interactive would buy back Giantbomb for one billion dollars making the gang rich beyond their wildest dreams.

What a story to tell your grand children!

God. I can't believe it's been 10 years. The website I was going to when I learned about Giantbomb still exists but the guy who runs it almost never puts anything out anymore (for years now) except sometimes when he live streams playing games. Giant Bomb is still going.

It's so much better than watching COPS.

Here's to a thousand more years of awesome videos to get me through every increasingly terrible week. This and Rifftrax.

Ten years. I signed up ten years ago. Day 1. I wasn't even home, but on a trip to see Rammstein live. Not even that could stop me from signing up. I was determined, and I managed to find an internet café just so I could do it. Happy 10th, and here's to another 10! Thanks to the duders for everything. Jeff, Ryan, Brad Shoemaker, Dave Snider, Vinny, Alexis, Ryckert, Alex, Ian, Drew, Patrick Klepek, Austin, Rorie, Abby, Jan, Ben and Jason. AND... the background crew who really should be on live shows more.

I wish they did this again

Man. I started having some nostalgia for when a group of people would complain every day that there's not enough content. I was 19, single, and only working part-time when this amazing website launched. Pretty confident I had watched every video and listened to every bombcast through about 5 years in I remember refreshing the site throughout the day waiting for more content.

Now, I've had multiple wedding anniversaries, a 50 hour a week job, a baby on the way and more missed content than I could ever go back and watch haha. I remember getting a good check and buying my membership and going back to watch all the premium content. Truthfully, I rarely find myself making use of my premium, but feel great balancing out the early years of money to bandwidth ratio. Love seeing this site grow and change along my journey as well, so much love and thanks to everybody who's been a part throughout the years!
