I've listened to every Bomcast, and the name Giancarlo Varanini or "game cop" doesn't ring any bells. Weird.

I remember when he was first on the Bombcast, I thought his name was John Carlo, and I was wondering why everyone always referred to him by his full name. I was really confused for a minute when someone addressed him by his actual full name.

I remember when Giancarlo used to freelance stuff for Electronic Gaming Monthly, and when he used to come on the bombcast WAYYY back when. Haven't heard his name in awhile.

I really only know Giancarlo from his days at OPM, same with Davison.

Giancarlo was part of what I consider the most memorable Bombcast of all time (and, goddamn, that was so, so, long ago.) Glad to see some more of him.

Looking back on that video, I can't believe that it happened. I guess at the time Giantbomb was young enough that I kind of took it in stride as a "Well, anything can happen!" situation, but it's such a one-off piece of weird content that it's the oddest thing to remember at the present.

I remember Giancarlo from back in the old GameSpot days. He's famous for joining OPM shortly before the magazine got shut down, then he joined 1UP shortly before most of the staff were laid off.

I would love to see a video featuing Ryan MacDonald. Maybe another Tekken, Iron fist tournament?

YES! I've been wanting to see more videos like this, about the reaction of the people at Gamespot when they heard the news, and what it was like when all of you walked in, nothing too specific has been said.
