The Xone has a lot of neat stuff on the software/UI level but it's all of little use to me... I have no interest in TV, in the snaping stuff or voice control. It's a shame really.

Speed cams have been in the UK for years. Really piss me off, all they do is make people who would normally drive fast, slow down for the length of the cameras reach, then speed up again. Pointless. And don't get me started on speed ramps!

On topic though, I'm liking the Xbox One over the PS4 from launch as i feel it has a stronger line-up. However, i won't be buying any console anytime soon as i it takes a good year to get some great games that truly feel like Next Gen

DR3 looks good. The Xbox One looks like garbage.

I'm not sure anything has ever made me as angry as Angry Birds costing fifty fucking dollars.

I love Brad, but it is fucking painful to watch him play games sometimes.

I am SO glad they covered Angry Birds, I was staring at my TV yelling FIFTY DOLLARS! just as Patrick was. And nobody else seemed to care that it's a total ripoff.

*edit* I also love how quiet they got when they were playing Angry Birds.

I saw someone buy Angry Birds for almost £40 for Xbone the other day. I almost stopped her but I thought it's best she learns the hard way what not to buy.

I love Forza. and Top gear is fucking awesome having the guys in the game and being able to take the cee'd around the test track was a dream come true for me. I'm also the kinda guy who spends hours driving round the same track tweaking suspension. So I guess it's kinda made for me. Oh and on Forza 4 you totally just had to slightly turn your head not lean, It was great for me and the only thing I used my kinect for... oh except shouting pause when I needed to go take a piss. I also think the UI stuff on the One looks great!

Forza 5, DR3 and Killer Instinct seem way more fun than Knack and Killzone. Of course that's just my personal preference. And Resogun seems pretty cool, though a bit slim on the features, looks like you can finish it in one sitting.

@paulunga: You could also just wait for games that are good before you buy a system. There's no rule that you need to buy one now. Like, I prefer the ps4, just for the ui and things like that. But I agree the current games aren't very good, so I'm waiting for Second Son.

Oh yeah, I'm not getting either one until there's an exclusive I really want to play for it. Hell, I'm more interested in the Wii U right now, thanks to Wind Waker HD, Super Mario 3D World, Bayonetta 2 and Wonderful 101.

Not to get all political up in herrrr, but that's part of what bothers me about it, too. And every article I've read about them in Chicago talks about their cost/benefit strictly in monetary terms, without a shred of discussion about whether it's actually going to make people safer. That's obviously a generalization, but the articles I've read since moving back have seemed to completely forget that point--and maybe that says it all.

I was grossed out by Angry Birds Trilogy costing $40 on disc for last gen...charging $50 for a single mobile game should be illegal. Like, they should have to do community service.

@radioactivez0r: Especially since everybody has a phone these days that will run Angry Birds just fine. For two bucks. That's a ridiculous price hike.

Xbox looks surprisingly good, nice to know the PS4 has some competition!

I hate speed cameras and speed bumps too, but if they cause people to slow down around schools and blind turns then who cares if the idiots speed up afterwards. Speaking for myself, just knowing about speed cameras makes me very conscious of my speed, which is a good thing. Don't really mind if they act as an idiot tax tbh, let the council have some more money.

Seeing how quickly your corporate internet connection downloaded 1.7 Gigs made me really angry.

@masterrain: When I come across speed cameras I find that I focus less on the road and more on the speedometer which is way worse than going a little bit over the speed limit and I know I am not the only one.

The party stuff seems like it could use some work.
