Looks interesting but I can see the potential for a lot of frustration.

I'm not in unless the game comes with a one button controller that is a plastic flip lid and eject button

From a gameplay perspective, this trailer actually got me kind of on board. Though, those be some ugly character models.

What, so this is a mini game compilation? Must be, it's Kinect.

Seriously though, if it works and Kinect can differentiate your hand movements when your holding a controller as opposed to when your hands are free, then great.

But, miming pushing buttons is just that, miming. Is anyone really happy with that? The navigation aspects of the Kinect seems to be everyone's biggest gripe with it

Looks like a bunch of shoehorned-in quasi-minigames that you do in between playing the game. I guess it could help immersion, but I'm not optimistic. I'm way too conscious of the "mime" aspect of Kinect for it to really feel immersive, most of the time.

@zombie2011: They're not opposed to that, they're opposed to selling bullshit accessories to use with Kinect. Xbox controllers are in fact actively encouraged.

They weren't opposed to it. Halo, Mass Effect and GRAW are doing the same not just From Software.

I thought Microsoft was extremely opposed to using a controller and kinect at the same time. The whole "You are the controller" BS. I'm glad FROM is nutty enough to ignore that and just make this.

So what I'm seeing is a WWII tank game where the tanks have legs instead of tracks. I liked it better when it was called Tren---Iron Brigade.

I want mechs in my mech game, goddamn it. Mechwarrior 5 can't come soon enough (if it still exists) or that other indie developed mech game.

I actually think this looks kinda cool. If executed right it could be a ton of fun.

Hopefully you play it the right way..... With a helmet and flight suit.

Using the Kinect in conjunction with a controller is actually a really clever idea, hope they implement this into the game well because its still hard to imagine how to play this game

I think 50% of the fun in Steel Battalion was that ridiculous controller you got with it. Pulling invisible stuff and shuffling between that and the pad doesn't seem that great..
