    Overview

    Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 4 is a street racing game developed and released by Namco Bandai for arcades (using PC-based Namco System ES1 hardware) in Japan on December 15, 2011. It was later released in mainland Asia in 2012.

    The fourth installment of the Maximum Tune series (based on the manga series Wangan Midnight), Maximum Tune 4 improves upon its predecessor with a new IC Card system and updated "Ghost Battle" mode (both utilizing the ALL.Net online service).

    Online functionality was later discontinued on February 1, 2017.
