I played the hell out of 1 and 2, then I imported way of the ninja.
damn that was a shame way of the ninja never came to the us, to put it bluntly it was an amazingly good tenchu game.

I went through the first one a few times since it wasn't that long. Never got around to trying the second though. Might look into it soon before this one comes out.

Call me crazy but I'm getting this game BEFORE Brutal Legend.  I'm nuts about the WoTS series.

I think I have the second one. I think I "beat" that one once. This one looks pretty good. The second one was decent (if I'm thinking of the right game), so I guess I'm looking forward to this kind of.

I really did enjoy the first two games (never played Samurai Western).  They weren't great games by any means, but they were a completionist's dreamland!  lol 
 
Hopefully, this game fixes all the stiff animations and such the franchise is known for and is able to really shine.  Even if it doesn't, I want to play it anyways.  = D 
 
Also, I'm about to clean up that Wiki page...because the grammar is pretty bad. 
 
*EDIT*  I cleaned that Wiki page up as best as I could, but some of it looks like it was ripped almost directly from Wikipedia.  I'm going do my research for info on the game and try to give it a proper Wiki page.  I've been needing an excuse to break 5,000 points anyways.  lol

I'm definitely looking forward to this. I loved the style and the game play in the first one, even if it was a bit clunky. Though I fear it will get steam rolled with poor reviews when it's released.

Tried to get WoTS3 today but Toys R Us didn't receive it yet, and Gamestop is telling me it should be here tomorrow :(
 
Since it's not a big title like Brutal Legend it most likely actually shipped today whereas BL has probably been sitting on storeroom shelves for a week before release.

I havent really looked up much on it but from what I have heard I am definitely interested.

This game looks really interesting and I love Samurai lore.

So, I did some searching around and found that the game was suddenly delayed. Supposedly Amazon says the pre-order will ship on the 15th (not verified), and Gamestop has theirs set to the 20th. This probably means they don't know when the game is actually coming out.
 
Hopefully it comes out within this month, at least.
 
Edit: I edited the games main page here to just say the game is coming out "October 2009" since we no longer have a date we can be sure of.

 Yer, I ordered it this morning on Amazon after my GameStops said they haven't even heard of it. I've read some people saying that their Amazon orders have changed to "Shipping Soon ". Mine hasn't changed however. "

This saddens me because I was about to order it from Amazon to try and obtain it before next Tuesday.  Looks like it's better to wait and see what happens until at least the 21st. "

Decided I wasn't going to count on Gamestop getting the game in tomorrow so I ordered it online from Newegg.com.  I live about 30 miles south of St. Louis, MO and the processing center for Newegg is in Memphis, TN.  Usually, newegg gets their items to me within two days so hopefully I'll be playing this really soon.

I am really pumped for this release. I played so much of the first one but passed on the second. The achievements look to be a welcome addition that will really put the game through its paces.
