Wayne Allwine was a voice over artist that lent his voice to numerous Disney projects during his career. In 1976, he became the official voice of Mickey Mouse, voicing the iconic Disney character in numerous projects until his death in 2009 due to complications from Diabetes. Among his voice roles as Mickey were a number of video games in which he provided everything from small voice samples to full dialogue. His final performance as Mickey came in Square Enix's Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days. The western version of the game is dedicated to his memory.
