I know he was part of those games that lost their publisher, like Ghostbuster and Brutal Legends. While some of them were saved, I never heard anything else about wet. And even though there was no info about (the only thing I've ever saw was a little cg movie) I kinda was looking forward to it, based on pure intuition though. Has anyone heard about this at all?

Okay, I did my own research and a so far no publisher has taken interest in the game. The latest news in A2m's official website is dated from 2007, so that doesn't help at all.
