So does this thing work with most Wii U games? My little 5-year-old sister is having some troubles with the huge as fuck regular Wii U controller and I'm wondering if this would be a good replacement. She mostly plays New Super Mario Bros. Wii U, but it would kinda suck if it didn't work with most games.

Also, does this thing even work with regular Wii games? I recently bought a regular Wii controller which doesn't even connect properly with my Wii U most of the time.

I've used that controller for most of the games that I own (Like Assassin's Creed 3, New Super Mario Bros U, etc) and it works fine. Only problem is if the touchscreen part is hardcoded into the game.
