Overview
Woody Woodpecker in Crazy Castle 5, known in Japan as Woody Woodpecker: Crazy Castle 5, is a 2D puzzle-platformer developed by Tantalus and published by Kemco for the Game Boy Advance in North America on December 2, 2002, in Japan on December 6, 2002, and in Europe on December 11, 2002.
The fifth numbered entry in the Crazy Castle series, as well as the final game in the series, Crazy Castle 5 moves away from the Looney Tunes license and instead uses the Woody Woodpecker license. Players guide the wise-cracking woodpecker of the same name as he makes his way through the world of fairies to the monster-infested Crazy Castle.
While the basic premise is the same as previous games, Woody can use his beak to peck at objects. The game is known for its disjointed use of hand-drawn 2D and pre-rendered 3D graphics.
