    Plot Summary

Episode 1 introduces the series' protagonist, Kawaura Yoshiharu (Haru or Hal for short), a young runaway with the ambitious dream of setting foot where no man has reached before. Somewhat grounded in the economically disparate reality of the moon in which he lives, Haru realizes he'll need unprecedented amounts of wealth to accomplish his dream. In spite of being a teenage boy, Haru is gifted with a natural talent for stock market speculation and trading. His intentions are to game the stock market until he is able to find his way to the upper echelon of the financial society in the moon and earn the wealth he needs to accomplish his childhood dream. As he pursues his dream, however, he meets and ultimately moves in with a religious, humble, but lower-class church caretaker named Lisa. Also living with them is another runaway, a precocious and socially awkward math genius named Hagana.

While he tries to keep his stock trading a secret from the ladies of the church, Haru eventually becomes aware of and involved in the ladies' financial troubles, forcing him to reveal his means.

Still being a young teenager, Haru must decide how to balance his long-term ambitions with the livelihood of the church. In Episode 1, Haru begins a long journey of challenge and personal growth as, in his youthful naivete, he begins to experience and cope with first-hand the brutality of economic inequality.
