Yes once,when i was gonna press eject i accidentaly pressed the on button cause i was looking at something else.

Nah. I pretty much just about use the controller to turn it off than walk up my ass and manually do it.

yeah, i've done it before. i was downloading a demo and was watching tv. i said o i left my 360 on. i turned it off and then remembered that i was downloading something.

No, but that could become more of an issue with the new 360 I have now.  Those 'buttons' are so sensitive I've turned it on twice by accident.

I meant to turn off the 2nd controller but accidentally turned off the 360.

It's easier to do that with the 360 slim. I personally don't mind it though.

With the new slim, my dog (boxer) has sniffed the xbox, and caused the thing to shut off while i'm using it.

when you hold the xbox button on your controller you can choose to turn off the controller or the console and once I accidentally chose "turn off console" instead of "turn off controller"....

The Slim is annoying with the touch. I wonder if there will ever be a day I can put a disc in my console without me accidentally pressing the eject button.

I have turned it on a few times, but it happens a lot more with my PS3 because all I need to do is press the PS button once, whereas the Xbox Guide button needs a few seconds to be held in.

Didn't I hear that the power button can be disabled on the slim?  Did I just make that up?  I swear I've heard that somewhere before.
