This may sound really stupid but how on earth do you log in to your xbox gamer account on the xbox site? every time I try to login the site tries to make me a new account and there is no option to sign in as an existing user. I know that my gamercard is registered with ms and that it's linked to my windows live ID as I receive emails from MS every time I buy MS points. Anyone have this problem or a solution?
I did that and it again just sends me straight to the "welcome to xbox live" and tries to make me a new account with the same email adress, it makes no sense.
I signed up on my xbox not the site, lol when it takes me to the welcome page it already knows my date of birth but still won't let me in as it tries to make a new account. And yes cookies are enabled.but I will try with a lower privacy setting. Edit: just tried with lowest privacy settings and it still just sends me to make a new account.
had the same problem. you just go to "sign in" and then press cancel at the new account page. then you should be able to put in your e-mail and your password to sign in. hope this helps mate :D
You probably have two email accounts right? I have a hotmail (which I don't use for xbox), and a btinternet account which i use for the 360. If i log into hotmail with the 1st account i then can't log into xbox.com - it comes up with the same BS as yourself. This is because xbox.com recognises the hotmail email account as the WILD i use for my xbox account., which of course i don't. If i go and log out of hotmail, it'll then let me log into xbox.com using my btinternet acct.
look i dont know if you sorted this out but i HAD the exact same problem I found out why recently i switched my internet browser from internet explorer to mozilla firefox. ever since then i couldn't get into my account on xbox.com it just tryed to make me create a new account. so what i did was go back briefly to internet explorer and logged in perfectly fine there, then went to firefox clicked sign in and now it works perfect
