K guys I need to know at this point I'm fed up with my 360 it just RROD on me for the 4th time just 2 months after i sent it to Singapore to get it replaced ( a process that takes about 6-8 months) because I live in Sri Lanka. And I need to know if the Elite if I buy one will break as much and as often because if it does I'm just going to sell all my old 360 games and buy a PS3

The Xbox 360 is the second game console produced by Microsoft Corporation and is the successor to the original Xbox.
Is Buying An Elite Worth It?
Yeah dude.
I do not own one personally but a few of my friends have had their Elites for ages it seems.
And yeah, the newer models should be much more reliable.
I just had my 3rd or 4th (can't remember) premium die, next thing I'm getting is a damn Elite.
For sure.
They all are likely to break at some point, elite or not. All I can say is that the last time I sent mine in, it seems like they actually did something to it, and it has run great ever since (other than the loud noises it makes from time to time...cooling system I think).
"Well besides that, the larger HDD will let you save entire games to the 360, so that means less heat and less noise, so a smaller chance of RRoD if you're super worried about it."Exactly.

I for one will enjoy my extra 3 seconds of free time while playing GTA IV or installing that bitch of a game Lost Odyssey.
My launch X360 RROD'ed and I bought an Elite, couldn't care if it also RROD'ed, the original was still covered by warranty, as is the Elite, I just buy a new one and resell the refurbished to a friend. That's how I do the Xbox 360 thing. Then again, if you don't have money to spare for those few weeks to get the refurbished back, I don't know... buy a PS3?
Yes, buy the elite, one of the best things I did, hard drive is huge, hdmi port and it seems like its not going to give out on me.
