Thirsty For a Savory Game to Feed My Xbox

Anyone else feeling a bit of a drought? I feel like the holiday blitz usually supplies my friends and I with enough new material to at least get through March. But this year, I am desperately clawing back to Castle Crashers, Borderlands, and even Gears of War 2.   I even bought Serious Sam on impulse and starvation. (burp)

On the upside, I did get some great value from some indie games.   (Chthulu Saves the World and ZPK2X)

And then I look at the horizon and wonder when the next big delicious mouthfull will drop. Dead Space 2? Two Worlds 2?

What's on everyone's short-term "can't wait" list?   I need something to look forward to.

I've been intending to buy Enslaved, I'm out of fresh games to play. I'm kind of getting bored with what I've been playing so much of recently.

Super Meat Boy... you'll play it forever. It will frustrate you to death but you'll love it.

You 360 kids mightn't have many near-future games to look forward to but I can't wait for LittleBigPlanet 2, Mass Effect 2 and Killzone 3.

Castlevania Lords of Shadow was pretty good. 25+ hrs of play.

I'm still playing through Dragon Age, Mass Effect 2 (second and third times), Dance Central, NBA 2K11, and Lego Rock Band/RB3. Besides all of that I have a ton of Steam games that I bought and still need to play.

I've got my gaming covered for a while.

I'm looking forward to Bulletstorm.

Until then, I can't seem to stop playing Halo Reach multiplayer.

Also, if you haven't played Alan Wake it's great and commonly available for $20 new.

Ah right, forgot about Bulletstorm (or really, Gears 3 beta?). From what I read so far, it's pretty obscene/mature right?

The next game comin up is Bionic Commando ReArmed, and then MvC 3.

I'm playin through Red Faction again right now, wondering if I should get Vanquish n Bayonetta.

It looks obscene alright, maybe a little too over-the-top. But hey, Epic has yet to disappoint me so I'll give it a shot. I'm looking forward to the inevitable giantbomb quick look/review.

Marvel vs Capcom 3

I can feel this one is going to last me from now until the holidays. I'll probably jump on some other stuff throughout the year but Marvel will most definitely be my multiplayer GOTY. My group of friends and I have already picked our teams and can't wait to get our hands on it. I've been watching the live streams and listening to the pros talk about the strategies and it's really getting my blood going. I'm gunna be rollin with Wesker, Super Skrull and Frank west all the way.

I've been playing Final Fantasy XIII and Darksiders on PS3 for Winter break. Also League of Legends on PC. When school starts, I'll most likely only be playing League of Legends every so often until this summer. At which point I'll be in summer school, and possibly still not playing any games. So I'm up ahead for a huge drought. As soo nas July comes though, I can pick up a bunch of games.

Portal 2 I'll be getting at launch hopefully.

Realized a couple of weeks back that if I kept playing games centred around 'levelling up' or XP and loot that I was just going to end up hating videogames. So I bought LBP2 and Hot Pursuit, just pure fun.

I'm quite lucky that I've got a bit of a backlog, still gotta play Mafia 2, Metro 2033, Halo 3 ODST and Halo Reach...Plus then there's the Wii games, PSP games...I shouldn't be on here with them all waiting for me!

Hey man, I direct you to my list of interesting games from 2010 that I plan to play in 2011. Bonus is, they're all, mostly, available from around £10, which is approx $15.
