My guess is that nothing changes between now and launch, they just want everyone to shut up.

Sounds like they don't know what the hell they are doing. When all the always online hate hit i feel they been making small changes to the point no one knows for sure what will really go down as far as features.

They done fucked up. Right now they better do good at E3.

I wont be surprised if there isn't any concrete set of policies for both Xbox One and PS4 till a few months before launch. The lack of clear policy is nothing new or surprising for new consoles, more than anything this is about what policies the other console is is going to have than anything else like "consumer rights".

Microsoft fucked up PR wise, but Sony has not said anything about their policies either (smart on their part). I highly, highly doubt that they will have diverging policies on used games and overall the always online aspects will probably be fairly similar with minor differences. These are purely business decision that can not be made more than 6 months before a console launch.

Its funny, because I bet PS's policies aren't final either and they're waiting to see how MS's situation plays out. Its neither good or bad but a little sad that gamers are much more predisposed to trusting them at the moment when they're probably no better than MS.

It is not that no one knows...only a tiny, select, closed circle of people know! But trust them...they know what they are doing!
